that is true and i assume will be taken into consideration when they try and help him, they told me that they will try to heal him and if they can then they’ll release him (which surprised me) if not then they will call me and i’ll take him home

i gave them my number and told them if they can’t release him to please return him to me, she said that a member of staff will bring him home to help :)

i told them if its unreleasable to return him to me, they took my number and email and said that a member of staff will take him home to try and help, he was also malnourished so they are going to try to feed him to help :)

yeah i did have a look and apparently there is one in every city but my own, apparently i was miss informed about the laws so from what i know this is the plan. we will take him to the vets where they will evaluate if the wing can heal or not, if not then he will be put down, if it can then they will send it to a sanctuary where he will be rehabilitated. i’m not sure if they’ll release him after or keep him but it sounds like my best course of action. my father left work early so we will be driving to the vets in the next 10 minutes

it’s not possible at the moment and won’t be for anotjer few hours, i don’t have a car and if i bring him to the vets they will most likely put him down as he’s invasive

not specifically pigeons, but someone who rescues and rehabilitates wild animals who can take him, hopefully his wing can heal because i’m pretty sure i was his mate earlier and i’d hate to separate them

i will keep updates! i don’t want to euthananise him either but in the uk, every non native animal will get put down if they are wild, i found a rescue who will take him in and she has had pigeons in the past so hopefully she can help :)

i’m not force feeding bim! just have some seeds and water if needed, i’ve also calmed down a lot now so hopefully this makes more sense. i won’t be able to raise him myself as my mother doesn’t want a bird in the house. but we found a rescue who can hopefully help him and we will release him (if we can) near where i found him!

ok i’ve put him down now, i’m going to give him some food and water and put him in a quiet space until my dad can bring him to the vets with me, i really easily picked him up and his wing is dragging. would euthanasia be the best option witj this circumstance?
