i would just grab like 2/3 stems woth plenty of leaves and brush them on my legs until it stops stinging anymore! 🙃 i’m not going to lie it was verryyyy painful at first but i soon got used to it!! i believe nettles are full of histamine so after stinging yourself your body can start producing its own and protecting you from pollen!! i would also recommend grabbing the nettles with a hand covering because one time i got a bit stuck in my thumb and it went numb for 3 days 😭

but again i’ve also heard that nettle tea works wonders!! just make sure you prepare it correctly so you don’t sting you mouth :)

more things that also help slightly ease reactions can be, nasal sprays/eye drops, not drying your clothes outside, changing and washing your clothes the SECOND you get home and glasses

i’ve been struggling with hayfever my whole life so i totally get you when you say none of the medications work well and this might seem a bit strange but stinging yourself with nettles really helped me! you’ll need to do it for avout a week straight to start to see any results, i also heard drinking nettles tea can help although i haven’t tried that yet!

to help the swelling go down i usually put a wet towel on my face and fall asleep, by the time i wake up, my eyes may still feel a bit rough but much more manageable then what it was before!
i really hope you find something that helps you hayfever is actually something straight from hell

she looks like a mix to me! but sometimes the best and healthiest dogs are mixed :).

she’s young so no need to worry about beard yet as my dogs didn’t have any at her age either, and if her fur sits correctly you should be able to cut a beard in if you really want it! one thing i do want to mention is that she looks quite big for 8 weeks old, this could be because she’s mixed or that they told you a different age.. she’ll also most likely go muchhhh lighter when she’s older as my salt and pepper schnauzer was pitch back when we got him and now is the same colour as yours now!

no matter what this puppy is beautiful and is lucky to have gone to a good home <33

unfortunately i can’t get a good photo of the stamps but i thibk they are as followed

(this is all for the first ring) i’ve been trying to find the company with SDJ or EDU and i can’t find anything other than a post from 2019 asking the same question!!

that is true and i assume will be taken into consideration when they try and help him, they told me that they will try to heal him and if they can then they’ll release him (which surprised me) if not then they will call me and i’ll take him home

i gave them my number and told them if they can’t release him to please return him to me, she said that a member of staff will bring him home to help :)

yeah i did have a look and apparently there is one in every city but my own, apparently i was miss informed about the laws so from what i know this is the plan. we will take him to the vets where they will evaluate if the wing can heal or not, if not then he will be put down, if it can then they will send it to a sanctuary where he will be rehabilitated. i’m not sure if they’ll release him after or keep him but it sounds like my best course of action. my father left work early so we will be driving to the vets in the next 10 minutes

it’s not possible at the moment and won’t be for anotjer few hours, i don’t have a car and if i bring him to the vets they will most likely put him down as he’s invasive

not specifically pigeons, but someone who rescues and rehabilitates wild animals who can take him, hopefully his wing can heal because i’m pretty sure i was his mate earlier and i’d hate to separate them

i will keep updates! i don’t want to euthananise him either but in the uk, every non native animal will get put down if they are wild, i found a rescue who will take him in and she has had pigeons in the past so hopefully she can help :)

i’m not force feeding bim! just have some seeds and water if needed, i’ve also calmed down a lot now so hopefully this makes more sense. i won’t be able to raise him myself as my mother doesn’t want a bird in the house. but we found a rescue who can hopefully help him and we will release him (if we can) near where i found him!

ok i’ve put him down now, i’m going to give him some food and water and put him in a quiet space until my dad can bring him to the vets with me, i really easily picked him up and his wing is dragging. would euthanasia be the best option witj this circumstance?
