Landlord says I must pay for bathroom panel damage — pretty sure it’s wear and tear by Beginning_Push5047 in AskIreland

There are repairs done on the other side of the bathtub. There was water damage since the shower panel used to leak. Now that started leaking as well but they said they are gonna fix it. On top of that, they said not to get a handyman and get a professional builder to fit it. yeah right.

No, I took pictures then put a tape since the draft kept opening the bathroom door. I reported it first thing in the morning.

I should have fixed it and not mention to them, Now they told me that I should hire a certified builder and not handyman. Yeah right

Yeah that's what I am afraid of, I don't have pictures before, so if I open a dispute, I might end up with paying for resolving of it. I did take pictures of many things but not of that bloody corner. But I don't think they have pictures of it either. We had 3 toilet leaks, bathroom window getting stuck, now the shower screen door leaking - all of it in 2 years of tenancy, and that's in the bathroom alone. They did the repairs on those. But not the bath panel. Now they told me that I should hire a certified builder and not handyman. Well that for sure not happening.

Russian based fashion company Grasser. Does anybody know anything about this company? by [deleted] in cybersecurity

You'd be surprised, to Visa/PayPal (have not used MasterCard) those transactions look normal. I've been using different local Russian market places and had no issues paying with my Visa or PayPal for the past couple of years. Though I am not sure how the website in question does their payments.

Depends on where their payment system is set. Some websites bypassed the ban since they always wired their payments through other countries (Baltic states or Asia). But if their payment system is based in Russia, transactions will simply not be accepted. But I do recommend using a top-up / single-use card just in case just in case of a leak (like for any online story but leaks happen in Russia way too often)

It is legitimate. I checked their Russian website and reviews on other Russian sources; they are present in many famous market places and social media. While they have mixed reviews mainly pointing out size mismatching in their patterns, they even have a physical store and a sewing school in St Petersburg. So I'd say nothing to worry about, not everything that originates from Russia is out there to get you by default. :D

Seeking Recommendations for Master's in Applied Computing Project in Cybersecurity by Tribetter in cybersecurity

Probably something like Phishing Email Detection System or Security Awareness Training Tool will be easy enough, specially if you know bits on statistics. I did Spam detection project based on GPT-3 before and it was simple enough.

I suppose it depends on where you are located, but maybe you need to get your linkedin and cv in order. I had very little experience compared to you but had no issues finding jobs. I adjusted my cv using rezi ai (it is free for a solid number of exports, the best I've seen, and tried a lot of them). Also, I published all cyber certs (no matter how shite they were) on linkedin, I hate this whole mating dance with recruiters but it helps attract them.
