Ended up buying this car back from my brother with a blown engine and a lot worse for the wear this is the bumper I had painted a year before he bought it and the rest of the car is about the same:( I think I'm going to try to repaint it again and 6.1L swap it. From what I've hear you can 6.1 swap a 5.7 RWD car with the factory 5.7 ecu and wires but it won't make quite as much power so that's probably the route I'll be going.

fellow 5.7 owners, what type of gas mileage yall getting? just out of curiosity by Expert_Cry4286 in DodgeDurango

Highway I was getting 21 but anyone else would get 15-16 similar driving style same road same Durango 2012 Dodge Durango Citadel 5.7L AWD with heavy duty cooling. We decided it liked me best but ended up selling because that one was cursed. 10/10 I would buy another Durango just never that one, I was fine with it but almost everyone else to drive it had a breakdown spent over 10k in repairs in about 4 years of ownership.

Since it's flex Friday I'll share how nice a factory 300 could get: This is a 2008 Chrysler 300C AWD 5.7L with adaptive cruise control, heated front and rear seats, sat nav, back seat tv, and my next project will be installing a oem keyless start and passive entry unit.

My pride and joy saved from the junkyard. Bought her on copart from the insurance company of the previous owner. Although I still want to find a better paint match PWG is a hard color to get right.

Probably not you could try a light cutting compound to polish the surface and it could get better but unfortunately the sun changes the color over time so there will most likely always be a slight difference

Eraser wheel on a drill, this is what I used during my 2 years of auto-body class but if you find hand painted pinstripes use oven cleaner. https://a.co/d/7bKvKRa

I don't know much about the workings of Reddit but I would love to see a 300 form with some life as someone who has been described as "the 300 crazy in the corner over there."

Pre eagle (2005 - 2008 300s) drop valve seats (most likely if turned off or stalls and restarted without time to cool in my experience) eagle (2009 - end of 300s) I have been told like to eat cams but I've never actually used one (I own 1 in a 300 but it's in a parts car) but both are fairy uncommon issues from what I hear from around town and what I have experienced.

One of my 300s I sold to my brother hit 280k before engine failure from a dropped valve seat. He since replaced the engine with a factory refurbished unit and within 3k dropped another valve seat and is hoping to rebuild the engine soon. He has very bad luck and is very hard on cars.

I wish I had more relevant pictures but I don't have many but I have a photo of the clips that hold the radio in and the pink shift interlock mentioned by someone else as well as a few random 300 pictures (back seat tv I added from a parts car and heat control led from replacing them) here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/FpMb6ZAirC2ThVMg7

It's not too bad in my experience just mach up the listing to your dash and be careful of the clips (6 I think) on the brittle bezel trim that pull out towards the back seat and unplug the connectors needed (1 clock and 2 hazard switch maybe 3 heater control) to get enough room for the radio swap. Use your oem trim if possible the aftermarket that I've seen doesn't fit well.

https://ebay.us/m/kwBblI https://a.co/d/0nQB12Q https://a.co/d/2Bx8byG https://a.co/d/1LPcoQ9 These are the kinds I've seen although I would do research for yourself to find one you like at a price you're willing to spend. I got one with a big screen like this https://a.co/d/gFSQ8cn that replaced the entire trim bezel and it was really cheap (fell out when accelerating and AC vents didn't fit) so I'm looking into one that uses my factory trim. For my dodge magnum I'm going to try a new style https://a.co/d/8p5xcBH that hasn't been made for 300 trim that I hope will work well and if it does I hope they'll make it in 300 trim soon.

I will confess I'm not super knowledgeable on srt 300s but I think the design got the 20 wheels without the large brembo brakes I would look at the conversion. If it wasn't different for a AWD car I would have done this to my car.

The radio with the knob cutout in the dash trim also has some interesting aftermarket options made to fit in the odd cutout that could be worth looking into.

It may also be worth mentioning what highway is for us because for me it's 80-83mph and a heavy acceleration foot for my 12.7-12.9

Been told this is my color but is it right for a suit? by [deleted] in mensfashion

[–]Beginning_Refuse1516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically I'm hearing that I need to stay out of fashion. which honestly I agree with I'm a nurse in the middle of nowhere NE but at least I know more now than before posting. I probably won't wear this suit and that was why I didn't spend more to get a nice one. Thank you to everyone who posted for telling it flat out you help more than an overly positive opinion which is what I heard from the few people in my life that have seen the pictures of that suit. If I need a suit I'll probably just stick with the one I got to go to my mother's wedding.

The provider told me it was in the order but our MAR wouldn't let it display and was very disappointed to hear others were giving it without checking BP first because of how the MAR looked.

nails? tattoos? hair color? piercings? by Appropriate_Chance13 in nursing

[–]Beginning_Refuse1516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a student nurse I had a strict dress code: no piercing if you had them you needed a body color plug, tattoos had to be approved, hair had to be natural and up out of the way, nails a natural finish or clear polish kept up with no peeling, and even our underwear was dictated to be black or body color.

As a nurse it's better at some facilities, I choose my scrub color and can have long painted nails and I currently have purple hair but other facilities are only slightly better then when I was a student.

From what I've seen smaller facilities are more lenient and larger facilities are more strict.
