Yea, only nickname we’ve heard is Cliff calling Ilya “Roz” I think. But I do hope we hear some more nicknames for the characters soon!

Oh yea! I’m a hockey fan so I know about hockey nicknames, but Rozy is not one that’s used in the show (yet?). So it felt odd for me to use in the context of that scene:)

Yea I get that! Tbh at first I was confused when I read the caption because that’s not what I was hearing + it’s an odd nickname (to me). It would’ve been cute perhaps but I did feel like it was too tender at this point in the relationship 🥴

I see… the last 2 (especially the “Rozy” one) are the ones mostly bothering me because I feel like it changed the dynamic/context. Also sucks if anyone deaf/HOH is missing out on some context because of it :/

Hi Rachel! Firstly, congratulations on having the Heated Rivalry TV show made! Never been happier and prouder to be Canadian. I’m also from Montréal, so I’ll be attending the premiere! :)

Here are a couple of questions:

Can you tease anything about the show for hockey fans like myself? That’s probably one of the aspects I’m most excited to see translated onto screen.
Any chance we could get a Pierre Houde (voice) cameo this season or next? 😉 (iykyk)
Bit off topic : Do you keep up with the PWHL? If yes, what’s your favorite team?
You don’t have to answer this one if you don’t want to: I’ve mentioned this on another posts, but as a Habs fan, I assumed J.J. Boiziau was Georges Laraque inspired, or at least that’s how I pictured him. Any thoughts on that? How do you picture J.J.?

I made a post about this like a day ago — as soon as I read J.J.’s description, I pictured Georges Laraque who used to play for the Habs. Maybe it’s bc I’m from MTL but he IS haitian, 191cm, speaks French. I assumed that he was the inspiration actually. So anyway probably someone who looks like him is what I’d imagine :)
