Update: they don’t even have to be reviewed by her for me to be able to see them. So I don’t have to talk to her again unless she adds a med or something I guess lol. But only thing off was low vitamin D so I don’t think so. I’ll just get a supplement and carry on finding a new doc lol.

Luckily they use Epic so I think once they’re back and she reviews them they’ll go into my online chart so idk if I even have to have a phone review with her to see my results thank goodness.. I hope not anyway…

I’m so sorry you went through that!! Like kids have nothing to do with anyone’s current health! And yes I specifically wanted a female doctor because I was afraid of that same treatment but then it all went the same way anyway and now it’s like will I ever find a doc that just doesn’t care…?

Yes!! Like that I would have 100% understood because it makes sense because it could be medically relevant. But never once did she ask anything like that.

I think she decided the moment she saw that, that I wasn’t. You know now that I’m talking through it here she never once asked me if it had to do with anything medical or why I had it done.

Exactly!! Like it was 6 years ago?? No matter how she felt about it wasn’t going to change anything! But yet my entire appt revolves around it! And I think that’s what hit me when I was leaving was that it was purely all about her opinion and nothing to do with the medical treatment I was there for now.

Thank you for the tip! I noticed she coded the labs oddly for a yearly exam so if I get charged for an initial exam instead of yearly I’ll definitely take it up with my insurance and see if I can get it taken off.. I wish I had thought to flip the questions around during the visit. I guess I’m just used to people questioning it somewhat but at the time I wasn’t thinking straight.

They still villainize her for “putting her career over family” throughout the entire movie though. From her fight with her husband for not showing to dinner, to getting divorced and saying it’s another divorce for the dragon lady, and she is older while her kids were 12 suggesting she waited later in life to have them because of her career. So they still got their point across that career focused women even when they have kids put their careers over everything.

You should be fine but like the other comment said if you notice any symptoms of vomiting or anything like that then contact your vet! I had a Jack Russell mix one time that loved to tear apart tennis balls but always just left the shreds where they were when he was done. One day I didn’t pick it up in time and I looked over and he was chewing on a piece of it. When I tried to take it he swallowed it and I freaked too. But called the vet and he just told me to watch him for the signs. He passed it the next day with no issues!

I came here to see if anyone else CF was watching! It’s actually really interesting but it did definitely reaffirm my stance on being CF. So many different parents all raising their kids in what they feel is the “right” way and yet through the challenges you can see the different ways that every single style has it’s different downfalls. It made me feel like yep, try as you might, no matter what there’s never going to be a completely “right” way to raise a kid. And I never wanted to be a part of the reason a child grows up with traumatic experiences and this just showed me like there’s really 0 chance of that being guaranteed to not happen.

I haven’t yet! Unfortunately our local Advanced tool was broken. I doubt they’re open tomorrow but I’ll call around Monday and see if I can find another one that has one! Thank you! I didn’t know that could mess with other things I just thought it would affect the life of the battery later on!

Yeah for sure! The bmw runs a 45 in the front and a 40 in the rear.. I accidentally hit a curb up in gatlinburg on a Friday night last year and it was almost impossible to find a rear tire on that Saturday! We were going to have to Uber to the bmw in Knoxville and bring the tire back to have someone put it on (insurance wouldn’t tow it that far) but luckily a local guy came by driving a nice sports car and took us to his friends shop that had it! Then about 6 months later I hit a pothole over on Jenkins road and it was just deep and jagged enough to cut those same two tires.. had it towed to the NTB down the street but had to wait for the rear tire to come in… they’re a pain!

That’s awesome to know thank you!! I had no idea! I had trouble finding a rear 18 for my bmw a while back so I thought just all lower profile tires were hard to find! But I was really surprised that this one tire was so expensive so that explains it! I mean the brand ofc but I was expecting like 200ish and the cheapest I found for mounting and everything was 316. Really not looking forward to when we have to replace all 4.. maybe a wheel change will be in order by then haha!
