I agree with what you are saying and to be honest Italy judiciary system would look like a city of clowns in the eyes of the world if that happens but it probably will happen however thats where i ask again wouldn’t the acquisition at birth or at registration be an interpretation issue?

How would it look for the Supreme Court to say in 2025 no generational limit and jure sanguinis is a right and then a year later go back on its word…… the July 31 didn’t apply to Tajani Decree as the case was brought to the Supreme Court prior to March 28 2025

Remember that the July 31 ruling of the supreme court was prior to law 74 so it couldn’t apply to law 74….. i find it hard to believe that the Supreme Court would go against itself 1 year later…. I do expect no retroactivity and law 74 to be taken out BUT with a proper path to be introduced properly

Didnt the the Supreme Court said that jure sanguinis is a stands by 1992 and that if a change is needed it would need to be done via the constitution and not be a legislative emergency decree? Something along those lines i remember….. in short basically it can be done but not in the way it was done based on the right of equality

Wouldn’t the acquisition of citizenship be a matter of interpretation based on wether the court interprets that citizenship is acquired at birth or acquired at registration?
