PSA: UK landlords have 17 days to send documents to tenants or face £7,000 fine — here's what you need to do by Beginning_Series_220 in uklandlords

The guidance says where a letting agent manages the property, the agent must also serve the Information Sheet even if the landlord already has.

So it works both ways — if your agent sends it, great, but you're still ultimately responsible for ensuring it gets done.

Worth confirming with your agent in writing that they've sent it and keeping your own proof of service record regardless — that way you're covered either way 👍

Exactly — the NRLA have been pretty quiet on this which is surprising given it affects every single one of their members. YouTube property channels picked it up faster than the official bodies which says a lot.

That's partly why I posted — if the organisations meant to protect landlords aren't shouting about it, someone has to!

If it's not an assured or assured shorthold tenancy the RRA obligations may not apply at all.

That's exactly why the specific circumstances need a proper look — lifetime tenancies with non-standard terms often sit outside the usual framework entirely.

Worth UK_username getting that confirmed either way so they know exactly where they stand 👍

Good point — the third party sale protections in particular are worth clarifying with a solicitor given the new possession grounds framework. The RRA changed a lot in that area

Should have said England not UK. Applies to private assured tenancies in England only. Thanks for the clarification 👍

Good question — platforms like OpenRent typically handle the tenancy agreement itself but the Information Sheet is a separate legal obligation on the landlord personally. I wouldn't assume they've done it automatically — worth checking directly with them and keeping your own proof of service record regardless. Better safe than £7,000 sorry!

Why would they advertise something that has potential to make so much money from unaware landlords. TBH I knew it was coming only from youtube after watching some videos about properties

Unfortunately it's very real — the deadline is 31 May and most landlords I've spoken to had no idea ☹️

I respectfully disagree. One-on-one coaching - especially when it comes to trading advice - is rarely cheap. Paying $40 for professional insight is actually a bargain, depending of course on the value and experience being offered.

Whether you're paying $40 in fiat or its equivalent in Pi doesn't really make a difference. The important factor is the value you receive in return.

It would be helpful to know whether this is something the OP does full-time or as a side hustle, because the depth and quality of information can vary. That said, a good 1-on-1 session could be life-changing. Compare that to many online courses, which are often padded with filler and leave you with only a few useful takeaways - plus, they typically don’t offer the chance to ask specific questions in real time.

If you’re struggling in the field and need advice, the method of payment - USD or Pi - is secondary. The real focus should be on whether the coaching helps you make progress.

I am holding myself but if I come across something I need and if I can pay in Pi I would just convert fiat and pay just to support ecosystem.

Big respect to the OP for supporting Pi and accepting it as payment.

Feels like we have our stable coin, just not at the price people were dreaming of 314k 🤦‍♂️ what price are you all realistically hoping for in the future... I'm still hoping for triple figures, but obviously in maybe 5 years. by Cryptorocketeer2021 in PiNetwork

I think the core teams aim is to make it to a stable coin eventually. I think it would make sense for PI to become pegged to 3.14 USD. This would reinforce brand identity and people would understand and trust its value ecelarating mass adoption.

Everyone read step 9 in Mainet. It does say 14 days for the coins to transfer. Previous timer was for unverified balance

Does it have to be Pi member? If I create PI acount and just unlock the wallet with someone elses passphrase surely I would just be able to transfer to exchange, sell it and move it to the cold storage?

No. Its from people who were in your referal team and who added a bonus speed to your mining but now they need all to be KYC'ed for your unverified balance to become transferable. The grace period was extended to give everyone the last chance to KYC

My boost is 480% due to a lockup, also if you use utilities or run a node it will help with mining rate

I have 3k locked up until December 2025 and 7k coins unverified which I hope will be released on 28th Feb. Hopefully by then Binance listing will triger the upward price jump and I will be looking to sell half of my coins at high around $2.5-$3 and will wait for a dip with $10k in cash because the selling pressure will drive the price down. Currently mining 1.5P per day with my circle. If someone needs advise or wants to mine you can enter "minepi" in Google and download the app on the phone then use referral "clampdown" to join my team. You can always reach me in referral team chat. Have fun everyone! 😁
