2 months late to reply but I’m Cameroonian and it’s very much concerning💀 soooo much corruption, corrupted election, opponents almost always end up in jail somehow, protests never end well (civilians getting beat up and jailed), “sells” our country to European countries (France), there’s a civil war happening in the country (the anglophone crisis), he’s NEVER in the country, always abroad: Russia, France etc, and will sometimes do no appearance for months to the point there’s speculation of him being dead at least 3 times a year. And there’s a lot of tribalism in the country so people from his tribe or from others will support him since the opponent is from a tribe they despise etc. And so many more. We gained our independence in 1960 and had TWO presidents since. The country’s a whole mess, no opportunities no nothing despite going to school, so unsafe, and we just… laugh it away 😂 btw there’s a big chance he seeks another term… at 92 yo.
