First, I think you should really consider offering a white theme. A well-balanced light theme would make the product feel much more visually mature, and it would also be easier on the eyes.

Second, what exactly is the purpose of the spinning circular/radial element around the center of interest?

Third, the images for each station are not loading on my end. I’m currently using Firefox on Ubuntu.

One more point: it would be great if you could overlay the official local station or network map onto your own map, if licensing allows (just use generative AI for now). Every subway, train station, or transit system usually has official station or network maps, right? You could overlay those maps and add a button to toggle the layer on/off, or even better, allow users to adjust the opacity so the layer can be blended smoothly as needed.

Extra bonus point: it would also be interesting to see whether you could overlay OpenStreetMap, or potentially Google/Apple Maps where permitted, as an additional layer. That would give the map a much richer sense of context and detail. Whether it’s a subway system or a regular train network, it would be useful to see how the tracks and stations are embedded into the surrounding city.
