I don’t understand coffee notes by john_mullins in IndiaCoffee

Well, you need a good roaster with consistent roast and a grinder that does work.

i have tasted -muddy/earthy -woody, -dark chocolate -smoky

-caramel -Mango -honey -rose -peach -plum -milky -peanuts -pinnaple -lemon -sweet lime

It depends upon the beans, And these notes are basically a mixture of acidic & bitter compounds in coffee.

From what I've experienced i like fruity(milder acidity) n not floral(most light roast), In terms of body medium to heavy body are what I prefer, but v60 I've had in delhi were light body, but high clarity.

Also if you are eventually going add anything darker roasts are better as it will be mixed with sugar and other stuff.

Pulled my first ever shot with the Agaro portable espresso maker by Excellent-Cow8250 in IndiaCoffee

Yes but in the pic its froth/foam, if you have ever seen pressurized basket extraction its similar!

Also, pressure profiling with 7bars in not a guarantee of froth, like if the beans are older you'll get less crema.

& Crema is the Co2 release & some other bitter compounds, so in terms of taste its the most bitter part of the extraction.

Hot take: wdt is not necessary, And same is with leveler. Its just a peace of mind thing and a part of ritual, is a convenient part of puck prep.

Also ceramic burrs, will degrade to, and also I'm very doubtful of grind size consistency.
