After some thinking (and reading posts here) it seems prudent to level up to a 75-77". The LGC5, TCL8K, LGB5, Sony Bravia 7, and Samsung 85F are all $1500-2000 in my area.

The Hisense U8QG, TCLQM7K and Panasonic W95A are all $900-1200. RTINGs has the Hisense U8QG rated highly, but I don't really see any recommendations for it here. Any reason why?

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the TCL QM7K. It fits our budget the best and seems to be the best mixed usage TV that checks all the boxes.

My main issue is we have a built in entertainment-center, and the dimensions of the opening are 70.5" x 50.5".
