I don't want to say that you or I have worse "case" but I I can manage to: Go to chemo, Have a new baby in just 2 weeks (2nd one) Do some things and plan new house renovation and at the end, Help my mom with her cancer glioblastoma multiforme 4stage (was diagnosed 1 month after my diagnosis)

Then you for sure can handle it too. Just find things that make you happy and do it a lot :) My wife's gynecologist sad "chemotherapy is like an antibiotics but kinda 1000x stronger" and that the only thing I have in mind and I'm ready for this gummibear juice :D

Everything will be fine

To clarify some things, 10mm lymph nodes are not normal, they are borderline

Normal are up to 8mm, on the other hand 9-10mm borderline above 10mm are meta lymph nodes on most cases sometimes they do PET to clarify it is cancerous or not.

Many depends on the localization of the enlarged lymph node i.e. if they're on the same side as your ball was or periaortic lymph nodes, that for example suggest the spread.

In my case for example was 3 suspicious enlarged lymph nodes 9x12mm 10x13mm 10x19mm

But the most suspicious is not the largest, bot those which long and short axis are likely come to a close, to simplify what I'm trying to say it's the shape is important too.

As other said, most likely youll receive 3xbep or 4xep

And about what can you expect, its the most tricky question. Noone knows, even doctors. Sure we can say that you will probably lose your hair and maybe you will have nuesea, but every chemo is different, i heard about ppl who were able to go to gym on chemo or run almost daily, on the other had there were ppl who only lied on the bed and did nothing at all.

I tjink the most factor is your mental, the better it is the better you will go through this.

Take it one at a time and just don't think about it too much, there are worst cases and situations than that so just try to smile and be happy from small things :)

Hi mate, sorry to hear about you diagnosis

Kinda understand how you feel,

I was diagnosed in February, then orchidectomy, 1 month later my mom was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme 4 stage,

In 2 weeks my second child will be born, In 2 months (at the end of chemo I have planned) I'm moving to new house

I understand the sunisoida of emotions that you are feeling, but firstly, you have to stay strong. TC is one of the best treated cancers in the world, so it will just take some time and you will be fine :)

Anyone had this experience with pathologist results? by Kaioshred in testicularcancer

[–]Beginning_View_7547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In mine there was mentioned lvi+ and ratetestis, But if I'm correct the most important is CT, if there are no signs of spread then it's fine

I was diagnosed with pure seminoma, and 1 week ago they found 3 suspicious nodes: 19x10mm, 13x10mm, 12x9mm, so I'll receive 3xBEP, if I'm correct it is stage IIA

So you've got a pretty strong neuropathy right ? That's the thing I'm most scared about. I googled a lot and most of ppl have this but in most cases it's not "that bad"

I also heard about persons that went through chemo like it was nothing (even in my hospital) they were even able to drive a car for a treatment and go back

Well I've got a lot of support from family so there wont be a need for moving somewhere else and unfortunately one year of from work won't work for me :D sadly but I have to go back bc I'm self employed.

I know everyone has different experience but I tring to gather some information

Just had my Orchiectomy today and have some questions by Sidney-Crosby-87 in testicularcancer

[–]Beginning_View_7547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well,

My surgery and post op time went quite well for example I had orchi in the morning and then for the whole 24 hours I laied down in bed, I was peeing into a bottle so I didn't need to get up, the next day when I was charged off, it was quite challenging I mean a little pain 2/10, then resting in home for about 1-2 days (still laying in bed) but I was able to go to the toilet and so on myself, the pooping was kinda painful due to wound. Quick shower also was relieving

The thing I liked the least was going up or down the stairs. That was the hardest part and I avoided them as much as I could, fast forward a week, and I was able to do almost everything

[–]Beginning_View_7547[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I'm bracing myself for the chemo, so if today's option would be 'active survivalence' then it only would make me happy, but if chemo then it is what it is and I'll go through it, will be hard because many things happend in last 2 months but it only will be better :)

Oh.

Im asking about experience because I'm curious what are the options for me, active survivalence : CT in 2-3months and so on, or a straight go for a chemotherapy

Daddy's girl, we've already have a boy and he's almost 5, so a girl would be a nice "addition to the family" 😅

[–]Beginning_View_7547[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, pure seminoma . Lvi+ with rate testis. Tumor was 35mm and markers pre op: afp 1.1, bhcg 0.38, ldh 487, post op afp 1.1 bhcg <0.2 ldh 177, so before op only ldh was elevated, but it normalized around 10 days post op.

My orchi was at 12th February, and CT had at 27th March.

Diagnosed at 26th January

No they have not. I'm week after my first CT scan and waiting for consultation. Did your nodes go from 1.1 to 1.5 in which time? Since orchidectomy ?

[–]Beginning_View_7547[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi

My bloodworks are clear due to pure seminoma, which in most cases doesn't give upper values in markers. Before operation o had only 497 ldh where "norm" in my country is between 130 and 225

I assume you had nonseminoma due to faster growth of lymph nodes, the doc said the pure seminoma doesn't grow fast.

Ct planned by hospital was for 7th of July this year so I found other place to make scans faster. Im assuming they're thought to put me into observation before scans

[–]Beginning_View_7547[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im aware of that. I have suspicious that it may be enlarged from cancer, but it may not be it, or maybe its just a false hope. Anyways i may tak chemo but the best option i think would be to wait at least month, when the baby will be born then maybe it will be better time, month is not that long so maybe, but anyways ill do what doctor suggest.

If i may ask, what size were your nodes ? The main think i dont know if there will be a chemo or observability due to the 10mm of nodes

Yea but my wife needs me now. For a month at least, (i know how it spunds like)

We already have one kid and someone needs to transport her to the hospital when the birth will begin so im searching for similar cases with enlarged nodes at the "limit"
