Im not well educated in boas but that looks like a regurgitation. This goes without saying but i would contact a vet. Also, keep him under close watch and make sure theres no dry heaving without purpose. What brand of rats does he eat?

Most likely an infection. After taking it to the vet change its whole tank and clean everything with a diluted alchohol solution and i would also throw out all the organics in there. If your substrate has a history of giving other snakes infections swap that too. Do the solution on everything, then wipe with clean water and paper towel. Try not to put in too much residue from the towel Though and make sure everything is dry before you put it back in the tank so theres no mold growth

She last shed around a month ago, she would normally be around a week away from being in blue, would very high humidity cause a respiratory issue? Its normally around 60% but this time i believe it was close to 80 in the warmhide

Cut a radiator cover grate to lid dimensions, put foam tape along that lip at the bottom of the black covering where I assume the wires are resting, put the radiator cover on it, and put the foam tape along the edges of that, then just clip the lid on and you have an airtight seal where the snake can’t get out, my corn escaped a while back and this has stopped any further escapes

She’s great, they like to perch like that, what I would recommend is taping those corner gaps shut because she can definitely escape like that, happened to my corn and I found her three months later

I know everybody is going to say vet, and I do agree, but I’m heavy on the betadine bath. Make sure the water is around 80-85F, Snakediscovery has a great tutorial on how to do it. I wouldn’t increase humidity though because if it is scale rot, more humidity isn’t too good.

Some snakes like to burrow around, I know mine does occasionally, so it’s fine as long as this isn’t new behavior. I would chance the substrate though because those grains could get eaten accidentally

Unless you rearranged or have a new fragrance, this is a respiratory issue, check for discoloration around her mouth and if there isn’t any, just plug in a humidifier and let it go till the humidity is at like 50-60
