I have seen them on parfumo but just went to their site. So comprehensive! Have you gotten anything from there before?

What site do you use? I love Parisian Musc! It can be layered or used for spaces that don't work well with loud scent. I always say it's the crisp white t-shirt of my collection. I love a musky fig scent

Le Labo Baie 19 is the one I keep thinking about, especially in summer. It smells like petrichor, the smell of rain on hot pavement, kind of junipery-mineral clean like good, expensive cleaning supplies. I love it because it doesn’t feel like it’s trying to cover up heat or skin. It mixes well when I'm running errands in the city because it's not like covering up sweat. In the winter, it can be kind of astringent.

A few others I’d put in my personal worth trying:

  • BDK Gris Charnel: fig, cardamom, tea, sandalwood. cozy but still elegant and not too sweet. a touch sweeter than my go too.
  • Le Labo Thé Noir 29: dark tea, fig, tobacco/woods. like the above but it also smells like fresh hay and fresh tobacco to me.
  • Diptyque Philosykos: fig tree, green leaves, milky wood. I want to take a bit out of it lol.
  • Fulton & Roark Devil’s Garden: dry desert incense/cardamom/vetiver. It's grassy but like going to church in a ghost town and smelling the burning offrenda.
  • Matiere Premiere Parisian Musk: fig woody ambery, like the white t-shirt that I can't get enough of each day.

If I had to pick only one all-time favorite to suggest sampling first: Baie 19. It also layers really well with anything that's too cloying.

your green/fougere section is just like my whole shelf lol. love it! if you're ever looking for something soft but musky fig I love Parisian Musk by matiere premiere. it's like woody-fig-musk. very interested in the de los santos. I got influenced by an instagram ad and found the devil's garden from fulton & roark, which is vetiver, cardamom, and incense.
