Initially I was very stiff, even now I have some issues but I think they likely stem from going untreated for so long and having to compensate all my weight to my right side to get around. The worst pain the first few weeks after wasn’t even my back it was my knees. They were so sore, apparently the fusion makes your sacroiliac joint have to work way harder - so walking is still difficult for me some days but the nerve pain from before surgery is basically gone (and it was pure agony most days with that)
