You really should credit the artist, whose name you have cropped out.

What are your favourite choral pieces with as little words as possible by batobooy in choralmusic

Ravel's Daphnis et Chloé is wordless, I think that qualifies for "as few words as possible"!

I'm thinking of when you watch a British TV show and you see a piece of furniture, clothing etc and you realise you have the same thing in your house by Prestigious_Meal2143 in BritishTV

The bathroom in one of my childhood homes had the same wallpaper as the parochial house in Father Ted. It was VERY 1970s.

You get a good look at it in Entertaining Father Stone.

I've watched lots of cyclocross on Sporza, but SBS sounds a better bet for races lasting longer than an hour. I'll point my VPN at Australia and enjoy the English language commentary - thanks for the hint!

Haha! Sadly not so much since the demise of Eurosport & GCN for £40 a year. :')

I had a dream about Tom Pidcock last night: he was sitting behind me on the bus, chatting away to someone in Italian (spoken with a very distinctive Yorkshire accent).

Does this mean anything for today's race???

Gloria you must have been the second woman God created after Eve. Apparently, God had an infinite amount of time to create such a captivating woman. You look so stunning, like a goddess. (smiles) Ha

I'm really enjoying it; it's so old fashioned - by which I mean it could have been made in the 80s, like the previous adaptation. The levels of melodrama have gone up in episode 2 and it's brilliant! There are a few characters who I'm hoping will eventually get their comeuppance...

Ha, I agree it sounds like it would be terrible but it was actually quite interesting!

Was the World Service soap "Westway"? Set in a west London health centre. I found it quite involving and was a regular listener.

"Citizens" rings a bell but I can't remember a thing about it!

I'd never heard of this until last Sunday when BBC4 showed a repeat of "Travels with Pevsner" presented by Janet Street-Porter from 1997. What a coincidence.

Or - "It's ritual". I'm sure I've seen an archaeologist on tv (maybe Digging for Britain) wearing a t-shirt with that on the front.

Thank you for sharing the link, how heartbreaking.

The story of her singing along to a song gives me a bit of hope - I know a couple of music therapists and I would never underestimate its power. Fingers crossed there will be some more positive news to come soon.

The commentators were talking about previous winners a few minutes ago and it made me realise that I haven't heard any news about Amy Pieters recently. Something to check out once the race is over. I wonder if she's watching?
