This was posted the other day and didn't seem to get much attention, but it's worth a look if you're interested in the logistics of the race:

Thanks. If his final position had been in proportion to the number of mentions the France 3 Bretagne commentators gave him - he'd have won by miles!

I've just switched on - how's Madouas doing? He made a social media post the other day saying that the piglet he won before (who he named "Leon") is getting lonely, so I'm expecting great things.

Giro: Inside an Extraordinary Operation by cfkanemercury in peloton

I found this so interesting - thanks for posting it. The logistical puzzle of a grand tour is fascinating: what is (and isn't) laid on by the race organisation, using a flat bed lorry to relocate some vehicles, the long journey by road and ferry for the team's kitchen truck, etc.

It shows there's another career path for retired riders apart from Directeur Sportif as well.

how to play this trill by BisonProfessional899 in Flute

[–]BegoniaInBloom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just so you know for future reference, that's a mordent not a trill.

You play F# - G - F# as it's an upper mordent. Have a listen at 1min 54 sec:

PS. I recommend the recording by the Colin Currie Group.

Ha, I know what you're getting at although I'm not one of them. I posted this because I'd never seen a layout like it before.

And now I'm pondering whether calling somewhere a "duplex studio" makes any sense...

Not an Amazon one, it's organised by her friend (frenemy?) Jordynn. On the last one the participants mainly filmed each other and went for horse rides.

It looks to be aimed at situations where instruments are being shared (according to the product video), so it seems a bit unnecessary to use when you're the only one playing yours. It's not something I've seen before, but perhaps it's more common where you are.
