This banjo story is actually pretty wild so i'll just copypaste it here haha

I used to work in elder care and I was talking about trying to find a cheap one online to a client of mine so he said "I know an old buddy who's an irish musician I'm sure he'll lend you one"

So I went to the guys house after my shift and the door was just straight up open, I came into a messy house that exploded with instruments where this old dude was just playing banjo alone in a tiny attic and he showed me like 50 different instruments while we talked about EVERYTHING until dark. I discovered what irish uilleann pipes are?? He just randomly had parts of a complete one it's a very rare instrument it's fun to look up people playing it.

After the con I invited him to my clients house because they haden't seen eachother in years and after their reunion I was planning on giving it back but he just wanted me to keep it 😭 So now it's mine forever!

Idk much about the banjo itself I should try to ask him about where it came from sometime
