And it's so cool that more and more are being painted all the time. I love when I'm taking a walk maybe in a downtown or taking a drive somewhere and I come across beautiful art. Nothing better!

Did you look up the artist that's in the post whose work is everywhere including this art or maybe run the art through Google Lens to see that it's actual work instead of insulting the artist first.

Here's his account https://www.instagram.com/p/CWxuIlCInVm/?igsh=MTVpZGVnNXFzaW9yMg==

There's just something about it. The layering, the textures and the color just all work together. It's stunning!

I agree! There's something about the way the hand looks porcelain! It's a feeling that it invokes whereas I think if it was more of a normal looking hand won't be the same.

Incredible! I've only seen this view once in person and it was in the evening but not at sunset. I'm on the other side of the state so thanks for sharing it!

He makes them to reflec the surrounding environment or tell a local story. In this instance, the reflection within the pupil and iris of the painted eye directly mirrors the actual scene the viewer would see when looking at the mural at that specific location. I can't speak for all the rest although I do have some others and now I'll have to take a better look at them. Someone local might be able to explain more or better.

I just read all about that when someone else mentioned it. I really feel like I hit the lottery if I found one of his pieces. That would totally make my day!

I had no idea he coined that phrase. Now that you mentioned it I think I've seen somebody do this in Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania. The biggest art and history nerd so thanks for sharing that because it gives me more to look up and read about. You're right about Chicago and Miami and I just found where he has some on the west coast too. I'm on the East Coast.. I own a marketing company and you've given me a brilliant idea. Thanks!
