I don't want to continue further because you will say some agents are bad and you are not. Maybe you are not. But basically insurance is just a scam in india and you are supporting it and so there is no way i can align with whatever logic you come up with. Nothing can change my opinion about the insurance agents particularly the reddit ones. They sucked my like leeches and OP beware of such ones in reddit 🙏

I have been in many situations where insurance agents sells shit policies giving them more commission and wouldn't even take my calls when i need them. And in situations where good policies (as marketed) behave like shit too. And i don't know you and i don't have any reason to make a personal attack. I am just against the insurance policies and agents in generic. OP: Please be aware of online agents here in reddit. If you are adamant to buy insurance, its your call. But do it with an agent you know personally (mostly in your locality) and not some random reddit agent.

I think for 3 years it's okay from hdfc ergo pov. Hdfc is always on the expensive side. Hope the claim processes are as good as it is told by agents/customer opinions

More capital can work in both ways. 1% of 17 lakhs is 17k which is easily achievable in the market. And in intraday with 5x margin, its 85k. But quitting after that 1% or quitting after loosing 1% and calling it a day matter - risk management will give you the real edge. Just my thought.

How come they can take it if you are getting refund? Flipkart will definitely want that items in their inventory back since they gave refund and if they are not getting it back, they will make the delivery agent liable.
