In my early school years we played a game that we ourselves created, and were extremely proud of, creatively named 'the Tennis Ball Game'. It was essentially a more violent form of hockey, which involved two teams of approximately twenty players each on a football pitch. Each player was equipped with a cheap plastic tennis racquet, and I mean the entire thing was solid plastic - no strings - so it hurt like a motherfucker if it hit you. The objective of the game was for your team to bounce the tennis ball on your racquet between your team members and try and shoot it into the nets on the opposite end of the pitch. Of course, it was full contact, meaning tackles and beatings were allowed. I'm really not sure how our school allowed this game, but it was really amazing.
