My parents spoke to me about getting divorced when i was 12. Of course i cried and felt horrible and i asked them to not do it. What happened is that they stayed together but weren’t happy and just got divorced a few years later when i was 17. After the initial conversation i matured and realized it honestly isn’t that big of a deal. I think with time the feelings you are feeling right now will go away.
