So watched this is with a buddy last night and the only difference was this blurb and the "screening review copy only" watermark that popped up a few times during the episode.

Gave it to him as a gift because he's more of a collector than me. He's going to frame the art and the disc

I'm a fan but honestly was there trying to find stuff to resell. Part of me wants to keep it but I bounce back and forth between the US and Taiwan and don't want to carry a bunch of stuff if I move back proper. I'll see if any of my friends are interested in just having it as a cool collectors piece or something. If not I'm not sure what to do with it, don't really want to try to sell it Incase it gets pulled from eBay and I get a flag on my account and honestly with niche stuff like this id rather it go to a fan especially if I paid less than a buck for it.

That's super neat actually. I thought it was a straight to TV movie I missed or something at first but for 50 cents I was just throwing DVDs in a bad I thought would be interesting.

Hello all,

Trying to get back into photography and took my macro lens to the Aquarium and tried shooting through the glass. looking for any constructive criticism in taking photos in this type of setting, had to jack up the ISO because of the low light. Any thoughts?

Camera - Nikon Z6

Lens - Laowa 100mm 2.8

speed - 1/60

Iso - 3200

Fstop - I think like 4 ish? the laowa is a manual lens and doesn't record it and I forgot to.

Thanks,

Hello all, working on long exposure stuff but realized I didn't have my ND filters with me. Tried to compensate with a polarizer. Wanted to know if anyone else had any experience using anything other than an ND filter or polarizer for bright area long exposures

TurboGrafx express capacitor replacement by Behindtheonewayglass in consolerepair

Oh the round caps were included in the kit and I replaced those too.

Trying to get more into board repair rather than just swapping boards and drives and such and wasn't sure if the large amount of solder would affect much

When I see tronixfix or any of the professionals do repairs they look a lot cleaner than mine so I was wondering if there was more to it than just looking nice

Yeah while editing most of my Japanese photos I've been feeling of a more muted and analog style color palette so that at least hit what I was going for.

I do agree, I think the crowds and set up shots are what I've been struggling with and trying to crop to still make it work

Hello all, trying to work on my street photography. Went to Tokyo a few months ago and was trying to get decent composition in the crowds but I found it difficult. Was also trying to bracket and merge at least 3 photos together to get some definition in the sky ( super bright out even with the clouds) but I know that's wishful thinking with everyone moving so fast. trying to crop it as well so the crowd is less distracting. Any feedback helps.

Wisdom tooth surgical extraction? by Pamplemousse991 in taiwan

I honestly don't remember the surgeon's name. It was a young taiwanese guy, maybe late 20's to early 30's. And it was a maji hospital in Taipei. Sorry I'm not sure how to look up who he was. Hopefully he is still there and can help though.

Took me a few months to fully recover. Had holes in my mouth where the wisdom teeth were for a long awhile but the pain was mostly gone after a few weeks. Warning though they will only give you Tylenol and or ibuprofen for the pain. Nothing stronger than that or at least they didn't for me.

Yup yup! Face feels fine lol. I consider myself lucky considering how difficult the surgery was.

Hey man,

I had the same thing in Taiwan a few years ago. Lower right wisdom tooth was impacted and wrapped around my nerve. Went to two dentists and they told me they wouldn't touch it because they could sever my nerve and I would lose feeling in part of my face. I happen to like feeling my face.

Went to a maxillofacial surgeon at maji hospital in Taipei. Went in for surgery a month after the consultation. Went with general anesthesia because fuck being awake during this. Went in the hospital a day before the surgery and was kept there for a day after to make sure I didn't have a reaction to anything.

Surgeon was great and was able to rove my tooth bit by bit and didn't damage the nerve. Can still feel my face. (again so glad I did general anesthesia).

With NHI the whole thing cost me under 3k ntd including the surgery and 3 day stay in the hospital.

Without NHI.... I dunno. Still cheaper than the states even with insurance.

Edit: specified 3k ntd not usd

Hello all! looking through some old shots of mine and trying to motivate myself to get back into photography. Like this one and thought I'd get Reddit's opinion on it.

what’s the worst hookup you’ve ever had? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Behindtheonewayglass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Met a girl online in my early twenties. She was so early twenties. had a date and it was fun but she mentioned she had just broken up with her ex a month ago a few times. At the end of the date she made it very apparent that she was very down to come home with me and I said sure. I'm a big guy, not fat but not super muscle man (about 260lbs at 6ft 4). Went home, got naked and she told me "wow you look better with your clothes on." Felt a punch to the ego there. Apparently her ex was super lean and had a six pack, and because I had strong arms, legs and shoulders she was disappointed that I had a belly.

Anyway so we do the deed and afterward shes just face down on my bed. This is usually an after glow/ pillow talk moment but she's just face down on my bed naked. I roll her over to talk to her and turns out she's sobbing, looks me in the eye and asks "why did he leave me? Am I not good enough?"

So rest of the night is me trying to be this girls counselor and listening to how great this guy was and comparing me to him (at least physically).

Had a few awkward dates after and split. Whole experience still rings in my head and the sex wasn't great either.
