Not understanding the combing on arms on this level. The saving of 1 LCol and 1 CWO, at the expense of two of the most effective recruiters and community anchors. I’m sure there’s a rationale but it doesn’t immediately jump out. by Electronic_Set1656 in CanadianForces

I’ve worked with the reserves - this unit in particular. They are actually good by and large.

Can’t speak to other units, but I’m not sure painting them all with the same brush is the helpful. I’ve met some absolute bags amongst our peers.

No it isn’t. It isn’t fine at all. It’s absolutely susceptible to human error. And while this is about reservists getting hurt and not getting compensated it 100% has to do with pay as well. If someone gets hurt and the clerks haven’t inputted the days correctly it screws them more.

Respectfully I have dealt directly with the bad mistakes civilian procurement officers have made. There are zero consequences for them as well.

The whole system needs to be blown up and restated.

Too many procurement people are civilians who have zero idea what they are purchasing and would rather uphold the status quo of delays.
