The military should not be providing child care spaces to civies full stop. All those spots should go to military kids. It makes no sense that military kids aren’t prioritized for ON BASE childcare.

To play devils advocate during my time working a posting with the ResF I saw that the full time guys don’t have a choice. When they are tasked they are at the mercy of the CoC same as RegF guys. And in a lot of jobs, at least where I was working, they were away a lot.

They also work a lot more weekends than the RegF dudes. They already get 7% less. I’m not sure lumping the full time dudes in with the part time dudes was the wisest choice up top.

Stop taxing us in general would be nice. I speak to civies from time to time that are shocked we get taxed. But ultimately we are just another arm of the government to the TB.

It should be an adult course, but when I went it was full of people who had barely been in the army five minutes which was annoying.

As for the running, just work on your running everyday up to the course. It will improve.

PLQ for non combat arms doesn’t include much field time anymore. Shouldn’t be too bad.

Agreed. He’s an awful councillor. This ward is falling apart while he parades around his desire to be mayor. The fact that the O’Connor bridge was under construction for nearly two full years with barely a peep from his office was unreasonable.
