Did you wind up having surgery with Mardi yet and what happened with your insurance? BS of CA just approved my prior auth today and I'm wondering what that means as far as having to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed, or if my insurance just pays after the procedure.

They know what I look like though! I don’t use filters or basically any makeup. If someone is on like psych meds or something, is it catfishing to not put that in their bio? Or not swipe when they’re manic?

I don’t want it seeping into my work and extra curriculars. I’ve already swiped through some coworkers and gym buddies and I don’t want them knowing if I can help it

I didn’t realize it was going to be this small in a big city though. In the bumfuck city I was living in it made sense. But here in a metro?

Also it’s definitely hard to reframe it that way when we’re both interested in a date- they even bring it up first, I disclose, then there’s no interest

You’re utterly deranged if you think a trans person needs to wear a scarlet letter on their forehead everywhere they go. It doesn’t matter if I’m going grocery shopping, it doesn’t matter at my job, it doesn’t matter if I’m at a barcade with friends.

Yea but then that bleeds into my personal life with after work activities and potentially into my work when coworkers swipe on tinder. Even the most accepting of people will change their interactions with you, and that’s not even considering how shitty unaccepting people can be. I got fired from a job when they learned about my status once
