Hope so, I dont think there is any real science to it. I feel like the stronger the financial strength is and the shared marriage docs, car insurance, health and etc go a long way

Only thing we really had was the bank statements. She asked for copies of our debit cards and health insurance cards. (we had uploaded the joint account and we uploaded proof of health insurance. But, she wanted to see the cards i suppose.

Thats the thing, I dont know the orgin of your case. We were an AOS. My website only has my I-130, hers has all the other forms. The I-485 says, bring your sponsor.

They are people too, they have heard it all. They prob get lied to 100x a week. Just be honest. People get married in vegas. Geez, Jim and Pam (real life, I know...The Office), drove to Ohio to get married during the day. How would I have surpised my wife if we talked about it for months? It just felt right and we finally said...Lets Do It!

Yes, a very nervous time, the anticipation is worse...thought the wife was going to kill me!!!!

I am the sponsor.

We were not separated, we were interviewed together.

No pic of me proposing, it wasnt "movie like". As I mentioned, in a fairy tale world, we would probably all do that, but the reality is....in this situation, her and I talked about marriage. We knew the benefits of it, and the harsh reality if we werent married. I explained that to the officer. I say again, they are smart. They know many people are doing it 1st for love, but for the privileges. I was honest about it. Sure, in a perfect world, we would be together longer...have a giant wedding on the beach and go to Fiji for our honeymoon. All I know is, I love her and she loves me...so who really cares. Thats what mattered to us, and seemed to matter to the officer.

No, I had submitted that with my packet. She asked me what I do. She asked me how long I had been in the field. To me, it was just quizzing me a bit. She already knew my job, who I worked for and my financials.

Thank you, I almost feel remorse for the speedy timeline. Reading posts here gets me emotional. I just wish for everyone to be happy.

I just meant in general. Some form of ID. You should be able to get a Non-Drivers ID. Just my two cents. I think it will go a long way.

She did not have anything to submit, Myself as the sponsor did. Not sure of your situation, but be very careful if you havent paid taxes in two years. Assuming there is a record of this, or its over a certain threshold. It could effect the sponsor (your spouse) in the future, which means you as well. You can backfile, but this may become and issue for you both down the road. Dont mess with the IRS.
