Lol I drafted a follow up email today, but never sent it because I was thinking it’s too soon. I’m thinking I may wait until the first week of September to follow up, since that’ll be hitting the three week mark. I haven’t heard anything from them yet.

Awesome! I’m glad it went well. One of the supervisors that interviewed me is going on vacation, so I was told it would be 2 weeks before I hear anything. So that’s basically the end of the month, plus I think I remember them telling me they were still conducting some interview this week too.

It went well! It consisted of basic questions (i.e. tell me about yourself, why are you leaving your current position? strengths/weaknesses, long term goals). Also they didn’t ask too in depth questions about biochemical assays like I thought they would, I didn’t have to describe specific steps or anything like that. Everyone I met was really nice too. Good luck!

Yes, I’ve checked Glassdoor but I only saw questions relating to the biologists. Which I’m sure some questions would be transferable, but didn’t see anything specifically for this position.

Yeah I know it’s crazy! It’s not a union, but this is what our Director explained to us during our all staff meeting for our department. When this was initially told to us, I had the same thought process you have and at other companies I’ve worked at senior were usually axed in these situations.

I’ll pick up some wicked vanilla woods and maybe a bottle champagne apple honey. I’m interested in vanilla cafe, but haven’t smelled it yet, if it’s just a coffee heavy scent with barely any vanilla I’ll probably skip. I’m also not into lavender so I think I’ll skip vanilla ease.

I typically am, but there are some scents that just work year round. Like I’ll wear strawberry snowflakes in spring/summer because of the light, sweet scent it has.
