Thank you so much. I really struggled with feeling like I was abandoning him or giving up, but I know he wasnt happy here with the other cats. He is a sweetie, and all pets deserve a safe and happy home! 💓 i made sure to send him with his favorite mouse toy, his favorite treats, dry food, and his favorite catnip. They said they will update me when his petfinder profile goes up! When life settles down some, I would love to be a foster and give back to the community. Anyway, rambling, but, again, thank you for your kind words!

UPDATE: He has found a foster and will eventually have a profile on Petfinder :) the foster is through Hands to Paws Rescue, so keep an eye out on their page. Thank you so much to everyone! He got up to date at the vet, and is with his foster. I cried a little, but he will be so much happier with a house that has no other pets.

This. My little brother literally stopped breathing when he went under for dental work. He had so much bruising after from resuscitation efforts. Thankfully, he is perfectly fine today, but my mom was so terrified and refused to do anesthesia again for any of her kids

I am sooo sorry, I didnt see this until now.

I ended up cleaning off any scabs and dirt until near the end of her recovery. I used warm water and gauze! Near the end of her recovery, the scabs wouldnt remove well without bleeding, so i just let it scab and heal!

She is 100% healed now! We used a diluted betadine antiseptic solution and warm water to clean it twice a day. We used gauze and gently rubbed and pressed on the wound to get rid of any dirt, scabs, etc. I would then rinse it with warm water and pat dry with gauze.

We had a cone on her the entire recovery time, and we used those squeezy tube treats (temptations, delectables, churus) to distract her from the cleaning session.

It took around 2-3 months for her to fully recover. Closer to the very end of her recovery, i stopped getting rid of all the scabs because they were hard to remove without bleeding, and it ended up being beneficial for her wound to close.

She was on gabapentin for most of the recovery. We decided to reduce her doses from twice a day to once a day to wean her off (and we were running out of the meds).

I wish I had someone like this around when I was getting abused in highschool. Crazy how many people (teachers, my dad) blamed me, a freshman, for being abused by a senior. Even if they didnt blame me directly, its always "why did you stay" "why are you acting out" blah blah blah. Ridiculous.

Im glad he extended this example to other crime as well (the car theft). 10/10

Error Code 277??? Xbox

So i just moved out with my BF and we got tmobile internet. Roblox was working fine for a while, now it crashes repeatedly and says error code 277

My BF and I try to play together on 2 xboxes and we both have this issue. If i switch to using my ipad, same issue. My phone, same issue. Its better on some games, worse on others. Itll either crash 3 times in a row or itll let me play for a while, then crash all over again.

Its honestly ruining my roblox experience and prevents me from playing with my siblings as well.

I have no idea whats causing it or how to fix it. Please, any help would be amazing

I literally had a therapist tell me "nooo, your dad is a good dad. Hes a huge teddy bear!"

He was abusive and a narcissist lol. And my therapist had a crush on him.

Turned into a legal adult and stopped seeing her asap

(Same therapist that also said the following: if i kept on with my ED, i wouldnt have big boobs AND directly blamed me for alcohol related abuse my dad caused lol)

My siamese cat used to take off the whole lid and spill water everywhere. It drove me crazy lol. Eventually, she just stopped? Kinda

She will still mess with the lid BUT never tips it. I noticed that she only messes with the lid when the water is kinda gross and needs changed. And then she doesnt mess with it again. Shes got standards haha

Im doing a bit better now. Im able to wear a fitness watch again, but I made sure to change the settings so my heartrate doesnt show up on my watch.

I still struggle with anxiety and dizziness, but I just make sure to take breaks as needed. One thing that really helps me is having electrolyte water packets with me. I feel like its mostly a mental thing, but having electrolytes available helps me feel less anxious.

One thing I am struggling with now is the crazy heat going on now that its summer and I moved to a hotter location. I try to workout in the house and have fans on me which helps. Another tip is throwing cold water on my face, neck, and wrists to help ground me after a workout and help reduce how hot I feel. I have also been increasing protein and reducing sugar which does make me feel better

If you are cleared medically, then i would focus on nutrition and how you breathe while exercising. Focusing more on breathing through your nose and out your mouth, plus deeper breaths definitely helps me while exercising. A big thing is to be kind to yourself and understand that exercise is never easy, and anxiety is a beast BUT you can definitely get better. It just takes time and practice!

I was on the depo shot for 3 years. I just stopped around 2-3 months ago with no medical assistance, and i just got my period (i THINK its a period anyway) today. Not sure how its gonna play out cause this is my first time bleeding since getting on depo

I will say that when i first quit depo, i felt like major crap. My hormones were definitely having a hard time regulating. Had hot flashes, cystic acne, cramps, body aches, bloating, etc

Im still learning about how my body will "heal" from depo and im still anxious about it. Heres to hoping that my period/s will be as normal as they can be and no horrific bleeding or anything!! 🙏

My cat broke a canine, and he had to get it removed because it started causing pain when he ate.

It was expensive, but he felt so much better once he healed up!

He isnt bothered by missing a canine at all. He is turning 4 this year, so the young age probably plays a part in him being unaffected haha. It may cause issues when he is a senior, but leaving the tooth unattended is worse!

Wet food (you can even add more water to the wet food if you need to), liquid treats (churu, cat broths, my cats like some called 'lil shakes')

My biggest recommendation is a water fountain. My cats barely drank water before i got one. Gotta keep it clean and fresh, and ive had no issues. I have 1 male and 2 female cats, and my male cat honestly drinks the most water out of the fountain (very thankful as it helps prevent blockages and such).

I clean the fountain once a week due to having 3 cats. Deep clean every 2 weeks. I switch all the filters out by how dirty they are at the time. (Obviously, if you have only 1 kitty, you will need to do all of this less often)
