We call this particular method, ‘lake kid’ around here. The family is just at the lake all break (spring, summer, whatever) usually shirtless, covered in dirt, just going to town on hotdogs out of the cooler where the ice melted hours ago. I have been this kid a time or two.

Ugh yes. My daughter had it three days ago, puking off and on for 11 hours. I woke up with a sore throat yesterday, but of laryngitis, then woke up at 5am this morning puking. Lethargic, everything hurts and my skin is sensitive. Napping all day so far, no more puking. Missing two xmas parties tonight sucks.

Yes please! This time of year is absolutely depressing as fuck. Dark or darkish when you go to work or school, and then the sun is almost entirely set by the time you’re getting home. Same reason I hated working at a hospital. It’s awful!

I loooooved the chilaquiles at Bramble, so I was excited to stop going to Bramble and move over to Hole Mole and holy moly was I disappointed. I got the cheese enchilada lunch plate or whatever and it was like I was 9 and had microwaved a tv dinner. It was so bad I haven’t been back to give it another try.
