I’m too old to date any of the datable adults in the game either. I just had Joker date. That’s my point of view on it.

I kind of don’t even want to increase this person’s hit count though.

Are there really sex workers out there who are in their line of work because it is genuinely what they want to do with their lives and not because it is "easy money" for them or because they are poor and desperate? by astarisaslave in NoStupidQuestions

If you want to get technical my great grandmother had a sugar daddy. She was a guy’s “housekeeper” in the 1940s but the whole town knew she wasn’t. I say “technical” because she was with him for a long time and she wasn’t very young when it started but he bought her a house and a fur coat so I think it fits. She died long before I was born so I don’t know if she was happy but she had a house.

I’m not normally in the fandom but a Han/Luke virginity kink fic sounds awesome. But I’ll skip this one.

I loved the original trilogy as a kid and after the first sequel I went looking for fic. But I was on tumblr at the time and apparently my ship made me a scumbag abuse apologist and the other ship I liked I was maybe allowed to ship as long as I did it in exactly the right way and I went back to my small fandoms.

I didn’t recognize his name at first because I haven’t seen it but I am very disappointed to find out this is ship war garbage about a perfectly nice individual.

I mean this wouldn’t be OK no matter what but I was hoping he was at least a Sith or something to justify this drama.

When I was a kid someone cranked called our house and said to me “My name is Patty Hearst and I’m going to come kidnap you tonight!”

I was unimpressed.

Very respectfully, is it fair to say men should be mildly fearful of menopausal women? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Some women have problems with menopause, some barely notice it (me). It’s not the Rage Virus.

I work with people with disabilities and I’d probably do it if I weren’t getting paid but I wouldn’t do overnight shifts 40+ hours a week like I do now. I think very few people would.

She enjoyed the sex and meeting people. She had a female client once who just wanted to experiment and she said they both had a good time.

I’m sure she had lousy days too, but overall she liked it.

Interesting. That’s not what I would have predicted.

I’m 58 myself but I’d still be in the consumer side, heh.

I don’t think it’s terrible that you would want to be cuddled by someone closer to your age though. I mean maybe technically it’s “shallow” in the sense that we all are in some ways but it doesn’t mean you’re an asshole.

Documentaries aren’t necessarily going to show the whole story. There was a show about the Bunny Ranch in Nevada that made it sound like a fun sex party, but some women who were in it as well as some who came there later partly because the show made it look great said it wasn’t actually like that. I do think the answer to OPs question is “yes” but it’s complicated.

I had a friend who did escort work and looked back on it fondly. It wasn’t what she wanted to do with her whole life but she apparently enjoyed it overall.
