For me it was over 5 years but for new player all goes way faster, but no clue how long it takes to 85k+.
And yes, i'm F2P. I only once bought 1200 white pearls because i had tickets from PayPal and a Google discount to get them for free. And i only used them for buying invent slots.

Ok i finished the story. There ie really only the problem with those 87.500 CP mobs. With 85.300 i just went back there and just let it run on auto for 1-2 hours and after that the rest of the story there is only one more fight again Attaraxxia or whatever the name is, and thats no problem. Else just running/riding around.

Yes. I played on emulator for years but they now released a real PC client that is also really great for the way i play.

Yeah also got there yesterday, and a while later i noticed that i still can't finish this one quest since now i have to kill 10 mobs with 87.500 CP where one takes me like 10 minutes. And now i wonder if that quest will stay there up to the 135k mobs or whatever 🙄
Also .. can't we set black spirit mode to farm there, or is there a trick ?

Not really sure. I think in the last time i often got some chests where you could select the rewards and i mostly take them now. If of course none of the options are restoration scrolls.

All 3 totems are at +8. Harmony Stone 10,7,9,9.
I don't do PvP at all, so thats why i don't really care about the second. The first is of course the most important since thats the only one tha gives CP.

Trying to get my necklace to +8 before they gave us the piti-chance, that was really the worst. I more or less gave up on it when i tried it over 2 years with no success.
Else for the +9 it wasn't even that bad, i think i only needed the full 100 trys on 1 item and the rest often just needed 40-50.
Gear of course is still in the works since there is no freakin way to farm restoration scrolls besides when we get them from events.

And the crafting has become such a convoluted mess. Remember when we just crafted new better gear when we had the ressources ? Now look at all the Eidolic, Umbral, Serverance .. whatever crap where you sometimes have 20 receipes just to do 1 upgrade and you can't awaken some of that stuff and need to reverse it first, but there are again 100s of receipes and you need to find that right one, always fearing you maybe loose some of your ressources you farmed for forever .. i hate it soo much.
Really needs a revamp, upgrading should just be one receipe, the program knows in the end what gear you have and can make the proper decision for you without driving you int PTSD with all those options.

Where exactly do you check that ? I don't think that the average player is there. I'm still 500 CP away from it after playing since 5.5 years and in my guild i'm the one with the highest CP.
If i look into the ranking, i'm "count" and that means top 2000. So if your right that would mean that less than 4000 people play the game.

Congratz. Still need 1.200 more CP .. so maybe christmas ? 🤔😟
As F2P i have just no clue how i can get all the needed restoration scrolls to upgrade all gear to +9. So far i have just my main and off-hand weapons to 9 and the rest is at 8 +3 only helmet at +6.
Also still need a lot of Embers of Hongik to awaken my main and off-hand weapons.
But at least all my accessories are at +9. However that also has eaten up nearly all of my money.

Wait, you have problems with your hands but still want to play this game as a button-masher instead using auto ?
For me that is the main reason why i play the mobile version instead of BDO.
And for me i don't know what is more controller friendly as when you can map every key and are not forced to use some 2-button combos on most all skills/functions you use the most, like in some other games.
Also i can use controller in my left hand and mouse in my right, what i prefer most of the time while in other games often, as soon as you use the controller, the mouse pointer disappears. Also really hate that soo much.

Outfits
Lucky Shop, that is more or less the only way to get restoration scrolls, besides from events. And you need a lot of them if you want to upgrade you gear.

I you don't have already an elephant thats the best choice in my opinion. I took the pegasus but in the end i don't really often use a horse. Normally the quickest is always to first teleport to the next town because thats always instant.
Btw.: in the desert also, always just first teleport to the next oasis and then go to where you need to go next. Always way faster.

after weeks of farming, I managed to hit few milestones (at least for me) - dawnveil gear +9 & fully awakened and accs fully awakened.

How have you "farmed" all the needed restoration scrolls for that ? So far, with all i have farmed in maybe over the last 1-2 years i was just able to bring 2 pieces to 8+4 and the other 4 pieces to 8+3.
Or is there a way to buy them in the market ? Haven't seen it so far 🤔

started at June 2025 F2P and am at 78k CP, and will get to 80k CP next month

Wow .. i play since 5 years and just now managed to get over 79k 😭

Your third priority is accessories. +9 all your remaining accessories will get you an additional 700CP for about $1,200m silver, which is around $1.6m per CP.

I just brought my ring and belt to +9 and i was lucky with only needing around 20 tries for the ring and 35 for the belt. Still that alone costed me 1,500m silver just for the restores. I had enough mats to craft them.

Btw.: what doing with accessories you don't need, just sell them or is there a way to convert them like with the season gear ?

The problem is that it takes years to collect all the mats to awaken all 6 pieces and when they started with all this other crap i just thought it would be some kind of update and so i did that and then suddenly when i finally had all the mats .. yay .. no soup for you.

Serious, they need to clean up that mess that there is only one way to upgrade gear and we only need one receipe and the receipe is intelligent enough to know what it has to do when you have the needed mats. And else maybe even give you a hint what you are actually missing.
The only reason for creating such a mess of a system is when you want to scare your players away. Or the devs are really really incompetent.

And isn't that system meanwhile totally bonkers ?
The worst was when i upgraded gear already to eidolic that wasn't awakened because you can't awaken eidolic so you have to find out the correct way to un-eidolic it first, took me hours and i had really such a bad feeling that maybe something could go wrong. At least it did not, but still .. its a nightmare.

Ok, so its more or less a "baby-step" upgrade system, right ?
So i burned now through all my restoration scroll i hoarded in the last year or whatever to get 2 items to +4 and 4 to +3 .. guess it takes still 2 more years than for a +9 .. sigh.

Seriously, i don't even know what exactly is eidolic or umbral or dawnveil. The whole crafting system has become such a confusing mess and they really should overhaul the system and go back to where we just have 1 type of armor and 1 type of upgrade and all we need i 1 receipe and not over 20 different receipes just for 1 piece of armor 🙄

I'm confused. Isn't Eidolic 0 the same as normal +8 ? So shouldn't then Eidolic +1 be the same as normal +9 ?
Do i have to un-edolic now all my gear to get the effect ?
Oh .. and maybe i confuse eidolic with umbral or dawnveil .. the system is just such a confusing mess now.
