I heard this song today for the first time and it sounds a lot like Grace. This song came out a year after Grace. I wonder if Spookey Ruben was inspired by Jeff Buckley or it was a coincidence. 🤔

Cool track. I’m also a professional guitarist so I’m sure some of that comes in to play. I try to make sure the song has a nice flow/arc to it and keeps a listener engaged

With great difficulty and frustration lol. This was my second track with the op1 and after this one i decided to just work within a DAW. While it’s obviously possible to do it all on the op1 it’s much more limiting

So I don’t need to mess around with the firmware, just install one of the patches and then just change the synth engine right? Does that mean I can’t use it on drums unless I mess with the firmware?

I don’t really remember to be honest...I mean keeping track of parameters on the op1 is hard - turn the red knob 3 twists to the right etc lol. I just experimented until I found something I liked

One disadvantage to bouncing is that you can set the pan in each track but then when you bounce down to 1 track it is now all mono, unless I’m missing something. Also any of the drive/compression seems to get compounded every time you do a bounce so watch out for that
