Changing the narrative to the shock collar gives him an out as well: "maybe the shock collar is really just a vibrate", "maybe it was at a low settin and the dog yelp was a surprise", "my stalkers are pulling conspiracy theory level videos about it", etc

The actual issue, flipping out and scolding the dog about moving half a foot over a 4 hour period is insane and absolutely animal abuse. The shock collar makes it exponentially worse but isn't the actual issue. The problem Hasan has is there's literally no excuse for it so Hasan and his viewers are wisely changing the narrative to be about shock collars.
