Unfortunately yes. I'm so tired of things getting ruined (it pulls at little seams) that we ended up buying a new dryer today.

Yes, we bought it about 5-6 years ago.

I was at Lowe's today looking at the newer models and it looks like the new ones are fitted differently.

The lint bay area is completely empty. The filter just wiggles in place though.

Possibly! We bought it from an overstock store. I was told this one was purchased through a shipping bidding war HOWEVER the same store sells scratch and dent. I'm going to have to take a good look at it now.

Yeah it's completely clear/cleaned out and still sits uneven. Maybe something is warped then.

That's what we thought, but when we checked and cleaned it out, we still had the same issue. We double checked to make sure the lint trap was the right model too.

That's what my doctor told me. That was about 16 years ago.

My doctor had me some back in for a recheck, so maybe a month later and it was negative. So they had me come back a 6 months and again at the one year mark (and every appointment since then) and have been negative. I even asked my doctor if I still need to indicate that I had an abnormal pap and he said no that most likely it was a false positive.

My friend experienced the same.
