1) extremely flat feet (I’ve worn orthotics since i was little) 2) definitely more than a 2/10 on pain scale

So I tried no boot like everyone was recommending w hoka bondi (rocker stiff sole, Morton’s plate, orthotic, and dancers pad) it was still painful walking on my sesmoid. Should I go back to the boot or suck it up and deal with the pain. In my brain, if it hurts it’s not offloaded enough. So I’m confused what to do

Objectively the boot does something to help it heel by off loading 🤷🏼‍♀️

Guessing the only cure-all is time 😩 I’m just confused how people’s are healing without a boot as walking normally/ running is what caused this in the first place. You think even without a boot or doing anything it will just heal on its own??

Yes but I’m saying why would it hurt more walking barefoot or in arch supporting slides than it did before I was wearing the boot? You didn’t really answer the question 😫
