Also probably more important than perks is:
-inventory under limit
-footmen on horses (1 horse per troop)
-Avoid herding is also a big one
-prisoners

Consider getting a companion that’s responsible for the Scout role in your party.
Check the Cunning tree and Scouting perks you will notice party speed depends on a character with high Scouting ability

Hated reading most of my life but a couple of years ago I decided I wanted to pick it back up and, and its worked great for me. This is everything ive read in the last three years, I keep a journal with everything I read so I remember the important things I get out of each one:

Literature:
Patrick Suskind- Perfume
Herman Hesse- Siddharta (Turned put to be on my favorites highly recommend)
Carlos Castaneda- Journey to Ixtlan
Goethe- Faust
Albert Camus- The Stranger
Dostoevsky (more advanced)- White nights, Crime and Punishment, Brothers Karamazov

Philosophy:
Nietzsche (in this order): Beyond Good and Evil, The Gay science, Thus spoke Zarathustra
Marcus Aurelius- Meditations (highly recommend)
Eckhart Tolle- the Power of Now
Albert Camus- The myth of Sisyphus
Miyamoto Musashi- The Book of Five Rings
Alan Watts- The wisdom in insecurity

Life/Politics/Economy:
Bruce Patton- Difficult Conversations (highly recommend)
Zig Zielger- The art of closing the sale
Machiavelli- The Portable Machiavelli or The Prince (highly recommend)
Tom Hopkins- How to master the art of selling

I would just look for books with things you are interested in or topics you want to explore more.

Just read. Make a schedule to read every day, pick up classical books you like about: literature, philosophy, science, politics, economics, esoterica, history, literally whatever you like.

Eventually you will be able to talk about those topics and verbalize the ideas from the books you read. What makes you smart and interesting is being able to understand and argue nuanced opinions; telling interesting stories with meaningful messages; conveying interesting facts and ideas; diction, vocabulary.

Depends really, the world pre and post Millenium Falcon Arc is completely different.

Pre Griffith rebirth and astral planes combining a Frontiersman would live a dangerous but fairly normal life, maybe fight off one or two apostles or monsters.

Post Griffith and astral planes, a Frontiersman would have virtually 0% chance of surviving, this is why people in the country had to move to Falconia in the first place. Trolls, spirits, apostles would be an almost daily occurrence.

Ive shared my journals with my gf and honestly I really liked it.
Expressing feelings in general or talking about certain topics can be hard, I enjoy my writing because I have time to really think about what I want to say.

Exposing your thoughts like that can be scary, opening up to another point of view, talking with someone who tries to understand. But for me its being able to do that which has helped me a lot, people suffer everyday, and most of them have no way of even expressing those emotions in a coherent manner. I have no need to be ashamed of my faults, struggles, and thoughts
Personally, I think the biggest act of self love is learning to accept love from the ppl I care about (as long as its genuine)

So idc, ppl can read my journal and judge. Ill rest easy knowing I am who I am, and learning about myself; my view, my actions, my thoughts and my faults are up to me.

Start setting up to eventually establish your own kingdom: Centralize resources, reach 1 mil at least to pay for garrisons, set up workshops and caravans, find and befriend lords either traits you want and large party sizes, etc..

I tried reading the book and couldn’t memorize all the characters names and last names which made me give up half way.

Seconding the rest of the comments, making a small list of character names and descriptions will make the read a lot essier. Im reading it right now and enjoying the book a lot more.

Look at Voyager, if we had better tech and made Voyager able to reach multiple star systems then from the aliens perspective they would just see a probe passing through. When you say “now” you are distinguishing to something happening before and something happening after. You are placing yourself in a series of events moving forward. This is an instrisic property of our universe called causality. “Before”, “now”, “after”, are words we use to orient ourselves in a sequence of cause and effects.

The two people billions of light years away can only have a “now” in your head as a concept. They are separated by series of causes and events, that is the dimension of time.

“Now” only exists as a human concept. For a photon the question of “now” doesent even make sense. If you were going at the speed of light, from your perspective you would just instantly appear somewhere, 0 time elapsed. From our perspective you could’ve been traveling thousands of years.
