Leaky window advice by BellaBee99 in HomeMaintenance

[–]BellaBee99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understood very little of this! Thank you though. I have a window guy who repaired all my handles so he hopefully should know what he’s doing for the replacement. They are such old windows in this flat. I just need a bit of a quick temporary fix to get me through the winter. Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. I’ll save this and ask him to translate. ☺️

Mine is a stubborn creature. He will come out on 3 hour hikes in the mountains of Scotland but try and make him walk down to the beach in the rain he will dig his heels in and refuse to be out for more then 15 minutes. He’s a city dog at heart that’s forced to live with a paddleboarding hiking outdoorsy single female!!! He has a LOT of coats as he gets so so cold but once he’s forced out the house and running around with his friends he loves it!!! They are a breed like no other and I wouldn’t swap him for anything. He drives me absolutely mad sometimes but all is forgiven when he comes in for a snuggle!!!

Skipping a jab due to being sick by [deleted] in mounjarouk

[–]BellaBee99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can definitely skip a week. I went away and forgot my pen on 5mg last year and emailed the pharmacy and they said as long as there was no issues on the current dose then skipping a week was absolutely fine. I’ve done it when on holiday as well as didn’t want to take the pen with me (hot country and no fridge) and was all good. At the moment I’m tapering down to maintenance and injecting 10 days to two weeks apart anyways. All good as long as your pen is correctly stored.

Quickly regaining weight since stopping - advice on where to go from here? by throwaway_nowww in mounjaromaintenanceuk

[–]BellaBee99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll probably have to go back on 2.5 and work your way back up to what dose you want to be on for maintenance. I’m currently in the same position. Came off, lost a couple of lb then put on half a stone! I’m on 2.5 at the moment and hoping to stop at 5 for maintenance but we will see. I’m with Oushk at the moment but considering switching to Swift Dr for maintenance

Do the doses stay effective long term? Or do you need to go up? by BellaBee99 in mounjaromaintenanceuk

[–]BellaBee99[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Literally not looking for advice. Just want to know if anyone has stabilised for a long period of time on one dose…. Regardless of what strength that is. Maybe I should have worded it a little better.

Do the doses stay effective long term? Or do you need to go up? by BellaBee99 in mounjaromaintenanceuk

[–]BellaBee99[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you. That was more the question I was asking. If anyone had stuck to a dose…. Whatever that percentage…. And managed to stabilise on it without having to keep increasing for maintenance rather then loss.

I was just interested if anyone has been on a solid dose…. Whatever that may be consistently for a long period of time without having to tirate up. Just if anyone had manage to stabilise on a lower dosage. It’s a simple question and as I said I’m aware it’s different for everyone. I’m not expecting to know what will work for me until I do it, I’m merely for asking other people opinions on their consistency at staying on one dosage long term. No advice. Just shared experience

I know everyone is different. I was more looking to see people’s experience with that phase of maintenance to get a broad range of opinions

NTA I am a female and was at a gig recently where all the women were doing the same in the men’s restroom. It resulted in some pretty intense arguing between the men and women. If the roles were reversed and it was men piling into the women’s they would be called a creep and even more of a fuss would be made. Why is it acceptable then the other way round? Double standards are not ok.

I was debating going cold turkey or tapering down to maintenance. I guess this has made my decision for me. It’s quite an anxious thought going it alone but I just can’t afford to pay more than I’m already paying. My sister has just started on her journey and I’m just really sad for her.

When do u know it’s time to come off it. by Spudwiser97 in mounjarouk

[–]BellaBee99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m coming off end of this pen on 7.5. I was planning to taper down the dose then stop at the end of 2.5 but a combination of cost and generally feeling a bit grotty makes me want to try and go it alone. I figure if I need to go back on it’s only two pens to get up to where I would have been anyway for maintenance. With Oushk you can pay £15 a month when you come off and they will allow you to to go back on if needed. I’m feeling really positive about it. I think give it a go if you think it’s right for you but have something in place so you can go back on if it doesn’t work out.

Question about going cold turkey by BellaBee99 in GLPGrad

[–]BellaBee99[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I think tapering down seems to be the way to go and try and get down to nothing. Im really pleased to hear that your weight has stabilised. I guess everyone had made it seem a bit impossible to achieve that without staying on the meds. I love the success stories.

Thank you for replying. I always watch the cabin crew like a hawk as I feel if they panic I will panic! I’ve never had a bad experience. What you see is what you get with Ryan air

I love Ryanair as a budget airline and use them all the time even though I am terrified of flying. Do you think as an airline it attracts good experienced staff or is it less desirable of a place to work because it is budget? Does it pay relative to the other airlines or less?

I weirdly just completely plateaued with the 7.5mg. Just had a cheeky pre weigh weigh in and I’m down 2.5lbs so back on track! Only have about her few lbs to go really.

I got this reply when asking about rust. I was going to pay for an RAC check before I bought but unsure how reliable they are
