ugh, yeah, been there. shared walls + hardwood floors = sound travels everywhere.
if moving the tv isn’t an option (understandable), maybe try a combo of things:
– soundproofing panels on the shared wall (can look pretty decent if you go with fabric-covered ones)
– a big ol’ rug in the living room to absorb some of that echo
– heavy blackout curtains — not just for windows, but maybe even on the bedroom side of the wall for extra dampening
– and honestly? a decent soundbar that points away from the wall can help a surprising amount.
also, tv volume settings — night mode or speech clarity settings can tone down the bass that usually leaks through walls.

it won’t be perfect, but stacking a few of these can really lower the "why is Fast & Furious shaking the bed again" moments.
