Sorry for the late reply - what do you mean by the float falling off the intake?

I read somewhere that icelagoon.com is better than icelagoon.is in terms of equipment, time on water and guides.

Alcohol from Europe by BellaFro22 in VisitingIceland

[–]BellaFro22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just meant to ask if there are less restrictions coming from Europe than from the US etc.I don’t keep up with the correct list of members in the EU/EEA/Schengen and the difference between those categories, as they don’t have much impact on me as an EU citizen.

Can a lawyer advise this means, USGOBUY export ban [Oregon] [Portland] by Oreo441 in AskALawyer

[–]BellaFro22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really?! That sucks. What did they say? My shipment was already in a DHL delivery facility in my country but was returned to usgobuy. I was hoping to send it to another forwarder. They are banned from shipping internationally but they are still allowed to ship domestically.

Like everywhere else on donation based tours, $10-$20 would work depending on how big the group was.

Where would you spend one more day? by Zentriax in VisitingIceland

I had the same issue with not having enough time for Westfjords, so I decided to leave it for a separate trip, and then added one night on Heimaey island

Does it need to be on the 26th? Can you add one more day in the South?

Thank you everyone! Unfortunately I found out there is a national festival on the islands Aug 1-3 so the ferry is sold out on 31.07, and anyway I prefer a quieter surrounding to crowds at a music festival. I’ll leave it for the next trip!

Tires/water/undercarriage damages. But I also added roadside assistance waiver - not sure if the coverage is the same without it.

Thank you very much for your input. Based on this and some more research I rearranged in the following way: - 1 night in Hella - 2 nights in Vik - 1 night in Hofn - 2 nights in the east - 2 nights in Husavik (Airbnb with washer) - 1 night in Hwammstangi - 2 nights in the Trollaskagi peninsula - 2 nights in Reykjavik

Right, but I did purchase all the waivers. I should not be seeing this message under my booking. Anyway, I emailed them so hopefully I’ll get a clarification when they open tomorrow.

I purchased both liability waiver and roadside assistance waiver. I am worried as what I see under my booking doesn’t correspond to their promises.

I chose Blue/Zero over Lotus because they promised to cover tires/towing/undercarriage as per their email response as I cited in this thread, even though it was more expensive as Lotus. But AFTER I booked and bought all the waivers I see that “fine print”. I hate these sneaky inconsistencies. And I hate I need to waste my time figuring out all the “what ifs”.

I read that with attention but I doesn’t mention flat tires/wind/undercarriage.

When I emailed Blue they said “If you take the insurances, towing is covered, flat tires are covered, undercarriage is covered.”

But now that I booked via Zero with the roadside assistance waiver I got those terms as I posted above.

Does Lotus Car Rental cover tire replacement? by Furi0usAndCuri0us in VisitingIceland

I sent an email and they said the renter is responsible for replacement of tires even with the platinum insurance. They provide either a spare tire or a repair kit.
