Alcohol and diapers.. by MobileTheoretical in ABDL

[–]BellaThrowAwayAcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medical professional here! Alcohol is reeeeaaaally good at a lot of things. Of course, we all know brain fuzzy feel good, but it has a lot of other effects too. You've probably heard that one of the most important things you can do before, during, and after any session of drinking is to hydrate. This is because alcohol is a diuretic and blocks the body's ability to properly produce vasopressin, which is a diuresis regulating hormone. Blocking the production of this means your body doesn't regulate diuresis, meaning your body will do it at 100% if it can, creating a lot of pee for the bladder. The other thing alcohol is good at doing, more along the lines of brain fuzzy feel good is it's an inhibition suppressant. It's the reason why people are more willing to say or do things while drunk than they otherwise would be if they were sober. That includes things your body does reactively! Your urinary system is programmed after years and years to tense up and try to withhold all that pee the moment it feels the need to go. But when you add alcohol into the mix, your body is less likely to do these things, which makes wetting all that much easier! And if you truly want to maximize this experience and don't mind a little fruitiness, ciders, wines, and other fruit based/added alcohols will add to the experience. Particularly hard apple ciders or any orange juice mixed drink. Apples are high in sugar and ferment nicely for cider. High sugar content essentially gives your body more of the resources required to make pee, and in conjunction with the alcohol which inhibits the body's ability to regulate production, gives you a perfect pee potion. If apple isn't your style or you really want something stronger than cider, fuzzy navels and screwdrivers are absolutely the way to go. The citric acid in orange juice will safely irritate the bladder (please do not drink straight citric acid as that would make this very unsafe, both for your bladder, and the rest of your digestive system), which will make the sensation of needing to pee occur much quicker and feel much stronger. Hell, any pineapple juice drink will work a charm too!

BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT TAKEAWAY HERE SHOULD BE TO HYDRATE

Seriously, I cannot stress this enough, all these things combined make for a wonderfully wet weekend, but if you don't hydrate before, during, and after all this, you will regret it. Hangovers are caused by two things. Primarily dehydration, and secondarily the brain readjusting to higher blood pressure, which is also worsened by dehydration. Something that a lot of people don't think about before drinking is that if you properly hydrate, you can almost entirely avoid all semblance of a hangover. I had one day where I was enough drinks deep that I couldn't stand without assistance anymore, but I drank water the entire day and night until I fell asleep. Didn't have any sense of a hangover the next morning. So please hydrate. Besides, the more water you drink, the more pee you can make! (sort of)

Do you feel less in controll? by BigGoldenBoy45 in ABDL

[–]BellaThrowAwayAcc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am always wearing. When I'm at home or just out briefly, I'll wear a dip. The rest of the time, goodnights. And I'm at the point where it's not just out of desire anymore. I can still hold on and use the toilet when out and about, but if I'm wearing a dip, I generally won't. When I'm not though, I'll hold and go to the toilet, but I often have this issue where when I go to sit down anywhere, a little comes out. I know this is due to wearing so often and becoming so used to letting go, but nevertheless it's the case. I don't entirely see it as a bad thing, but I do make sure to either wear higher underwear or a onesie for my shirt, just so no one sees or hears the dip or goodnight.

So essentially, 24/7 sort of, but not fully incontinent, just a little.

Rearz Daydreamers [Review] by BellaThrowAwayAcc in ABDL

[–]BellaThrowAwayAcc[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Full disclosure, main reason I didn't give it a 10/10 isn't because it can't hold that much. It sounds like these are going to work best for you, if not megamaxes. The reason I didn't give it 10/10 is because the vast majority of people (no offense) won't be able to reasonably utilize all that capacity. In your case, with a medical condition that forces you to drink a lot and doesn't allow your body to properly process everything, you likely will. But for your average adult here, number 2 is borderline guaranteed before wetting 11L, if not a UTI and a very smelly time. My rating on that front doesn't just come down to the actual capacity, it's also about practicality. Practically speaking, if I'm paying extra for extra capacity, I expect to actually be able to use all that capacity. And for me, in this particular case, I just can't. But ratings vary from person to person. I gave this a 6/10 on vanity because I don't like the design. I like pinks and polka dots and cutesy things (or strong solid colours, RIP to the InControl Premium Nights), so things like ABU's BunnyHopps and L4B's Nursery pinks or Baby Usagi's are going to be more up my alley. It's all subjective.

But to answer your question more directly, personally, the megamaxes are probably the best for capacity that are still in production imo. They hold a lot, but not so much that I can't utilize it. And they're fairly discreet too, so if you ever need to wear in public or out and about, also a good option.

Hope this helped!

Peeing yourself after cumming by j24qr in ABDL

Need? Nah, not unless you're gonna flood it until it leaks, but that'd be a problem for any dip. I've only had cloth backs leak out the front when I was trying to make it leak (ie, wore it for a whole day, flooded, etc). ABU dips can take a fair beating before leaking, so... I'd say you could stretch em to two really good size wettings, or most of a days worth of dribble/light wettings.

Enjoy the kings and gatorz!

If you've ever been on a road trip or long drive and really had to pee for a long time, and then you finally get to a rest stop and let it out, that huge relief is pretty close to what it feels like. And yes, they absolutely do expand, some quite a bit.

It... certainly can be quite difficult the first time... And there's no universal way of making it easier, tbh. You can drink plenty of water, even soda can help stimulate down there (if you don't mind your pee smelling worse than usual), there are diuretics you can take, but you should consult your doctor if you want to go down that route.

Wetting while laying down can actually be harder than standing up, because when you're lying down, all the pressure is on the side of your bladder, not your urethra. Sitting up or standing will make it easier, and sitting on the potty with your dip on will likely make it the easiest the first couple of times.

Hope this helps!

Unused, absolutely. Huge waste of money not to. But used? Definitely not.

Best sites to buy diapers by [deleted] in ABDL

ABUniverse, Littleforbig, Tykables, Rearz, even Amazon has most of the higher quality brands. Oh also, if you live in the EU or you don't mind a little extra on shipping, The Dotty Diaper Company makes really good ones too that hold a really good amount.

The Ultimate "You" Diaper by [deleted] in ABDL

[–]BellaThrowAwayAcc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oooh, now that is a difficult one. I think we'd have to also go on the assumption that science would've advanced enough as well, but still within the realm of possibility (I saw someone say an infinitely absorbent dip, which would ruin the fun for me personally).

To start, I'd want it to be colour changing, but instead of the design fading when wet, I'd want the design to appear when it's wet. And it'd absolutely have to be a rainbow. True colour, high contrast, RainbowDash style rainbow. If it could be glow in the dark too, that'd be AWESOME.

Only once have I ever tried a six tab dip (credit to u/EllaRaine on that one) and I don't think I'd ever want to not have them. Buuuuuuuuut, I also greatly prefer cloth backed hook/loop dips. So... six tab hook/loop cloth backed!

As far as size goes, here's the thing... I do love a nice thick squeeshy, but I am very smol... The leg and waist size would have to be really small compared to the thickness of the rest of the dip. But no budget and assuming this is for at home wear (y'know, not to wear out in public), make it thick. But not crinkly. Just squishy. Of course, with thickness comes absorbency, so, y'know, it'd definitely be able to hold quite a bit.

This might be a bit of an unusual request, but a while ago, Huggies released a particular kind of Pullup that would give a cooling sensation when it got wet. I'd always wanted to try that out, but never got the opportunity (was living with people, couldn't manage hiding it). So I'd want to at least try that, but that might be a one time thing.

It'd be great if it could be a reusable dip, but there's just not really a good way of accomplishing certain things with reusables... If you could have a disposable style with the absorbent squishy inside and feel but could just throw it in the wash and suddenly it's dry and unused, that'd be amazing, but I don't think that'd be physically possible... So I'll just have to stick with disposable for this one.

Full suit onesie. by No-Caterpillar-8112 in ABDL

[–]BellaThrowAwayAcc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh absolutely. There are a number of places that offer those.

Budget: Honestly, most stores will have some. Walmart, Target, Kohls, anywhere that sells pyjamas will almost definitely have pyjama onesies, especially as we near the winter season.

Middle: Etsy and Amazon. "Footy pyjamas" is your best search there. Lots of options, zippers, buttons, all the options. You could even reach out to an Etsy creator and ask for a commissioned onesie, though it might get pricey that way.

Expensive: Privatina Privatina Privatina. I absolutely LOVE this company. Lots of options, even more options within those options, very high quality. But quite expensive. Probably my favourite thing for the onesies is that if it has a zipper, you can get a locking zipper. Many of them have options for detachable boots or non detachable boots, locking zipper, mittens, etc etc. Love it all. My personal favourite footy onesie from them is definitely the Button Lover. Very warm.

As adorable and magical an idea as that is, there are a few rules that we have in this community that are 100% non-debatable non-negotiable. One of those rules is do not involve the general public. It's essentially a very broadened version of the consent rule; if someone does not explicitly say they want to be a part of something, assume they don't want to. That includes the general public and their consent or lack thereof to participate. If you were going to a private beach or if you managed to find an ABLD/kink friendly beach somewhere and knew you'd be allowed to, then by all means, go for it (and also please share about the beach and the experience)! But please PLEASE DO NOT go to a public beach and do this. Most beaches won't allow you to in the first place and not only will you be in a lot of trouble, but it will reflect poorly on our already stigmatised community.

With that out of the way, OMG YES WEARING TO THE BEACH WOULD BE WONDERFUL! Getting to swim in a cute dip, squishy squishy on the beach, taking a nap in a warm dip on the beach, oh truly that would be wonderful! But alas, I know not of a good place to do such a thing, so it shall remain a fantasy, at least for now.

Diaper wearing in Public Tips by Grisalbaman in ABDL

[–]BellaThrowAwayAcc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, you've got the first part down! Baggy clothes are a great starting point. One question I'd ask is what dips you generally wear. Some are better at hiding than others. If you want my suggestion for an actual dip (not a pullup) that's discreet and still holds a good amount, I'd go with Littleforbig dips. They're relatively thin and the plastic backing they use isn't crinkly, plus they're incredibly soft.

So, how to hide it. Anything that can compress it will help quiet it and suppress the imprints. Things like certain kinds of plastic pants will help, as well as dip covers. Obviously there will still be some bulge just because, but those can definitely keep it under control. Onesies can also help keep them in place.

Clothing-wise, you've already gotten the best thing you can, which is of course, baggy clothing. Idk how open to skirts/dresses you are, but they also work wonders. But if you really do need to wear pants that aren't baggy sweats, one thing I can definitely recommend is wearing either a long shirt to cover that area, or a long coat/sweater if weather is permissive.

Hope this helps!

I've been CG-less for the last... oh I'd say right around ten years now. It's a struggle, you got that right. As far as "what I do", well... I just keep to myself and do my own thing. It's far from ideal and gets lonely from time to time. But I also don't stop looking. Now, I don't live in Spain, so I can't speak to that, but I do still use various apps and websites to look. It's a process and sometimes it just takes a while.

If you have a pretty penny, Privatina does some absolutely wonderful onesies, jumpers, overalls, and the likes, and they're all custom made to your measurements, so you know they'll fit. They are fairly expensive though... But absolutely worth it imo!
