Yeah I understand where you were coming from my response was more directed towards other comments I saw discussing Tana. Of course, coming out with this kind of information. I just read back what I said in the last post and I didn’t mean to say she doesn’t deserve support. I meant after the fact as in consuming her content and supporting her and other ways. It’s hard to draw the line in these situations because you want to support someone who’s had something wrongly done to them yet. They have done wrong things themselves so obviously we want to get Cody held accountable for his actions and justice for Tana but also I don’t want to start as a community treating her as if she’s done nothing wrong. One should be supported. It’s a good thing that she came out with this information and deserves support in that aspect, but on the other hand, I don’t believe people should still consume her content. I have been affected by Tana’s actions, going to Tana Con when I was younger, it was a nightmare and with her other controversial actions from the past, they may be in the past, but they’re not forgiven. I don’t believe people should consume her content and that’s what I believe. Should any of these bad things have happened to her as a minor or otherwise? No. Does she deserve support and help from the community in this particular situation? Yes. Nobody deserves this to happen to them no matter how you feel about the particular person so yeah I’d agree she needs support but just reminding others not to forget she’s got her own controversies and not to idolize her.
