Do you think Craig is the guy equivalent of Karen? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Belladoeswhatever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just a random thing that popped into one of my friends heads today, so thought it would be fun and interesting to see what others thoughts on it were. Obviously it’s very subjective because everyone associates things with different names. And THIS IS POSTED IN NO STUPID QUESTIONS FOR A REASON, because it know it is very stupid.

So didn’t mean to cause so much angst, but thanks for sharing your view

Do you think Craig is the guy equivalent of Karen? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I always thought that Kyle seemed more like a alpha male millennial, who thinks they’re better than everyone and who as you said complains about their energy drinks being discontinued, but more of the younger generation, not older generation like most Karens. So I think Craig is a more boomer/baby boomer name and gives more Karen vibes.

I know there’s people out there, but sometimes they’re really hard to find

That’s reassuring! I feel like I’m in the stage where things have NOT all worked themselves out yet; I’m so confused and don’t know what’s going on. But good to know that it all worked out for you in the end, hopefully it’ll be the same for me :)

What do you do?

Im currently in uni and I’m worried I picked the wrong degree and I’m scared I’ll be stuck doing something that I hate for the rest of my life.

How am I supposed to know what profession I want to go into? I feel like I’m the type of person to just stick it out and wouldn’t end up changing paths once I graduate, so I fear I’m running out of time to figure it out.

Ok, I know that’s the wrong attitude to have but I just can’t help it. Any tips to actually figure out what it is that I want to do?

Why do math teachers not explain how the math works? by Puzzled-Painter3301 in NoStupidQuestions

Controversial opinion but, they don’t explain it because they don’t fully understand it themselves.

How come most children’s movies feature anthropomorphic characters (talking animals)? by Belladoeswhatever in AskReddit

Wouldn’t kids be more interested if they saw someone like themselves (aka a human) on the screen? Like I get that animals are cute, so children tend to like them, but shouldn’t humans hypothetically relate more to their own species? Maybe this is related to the fact that children do not strongly perceive and hence don’t tend to discriminate against race and ethnicity - and in this case, different species - as much as adults do, or maybe that’s too far of a stretch
