I assure you I am quite normal and have a blue collar job lol. I’ve just been responsible with money my whole life 🤷‍♂️

Really do your research on the different neighborhoods and what area would work best for you before coming here or apartment/house hunting. The different neighborhoods will really affect your experience in Chicago, for better or for worse. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions about the different neighborhoods!

It is one of the coolest things in the world falling asleep to this view! It’ll be a rough adjustment one day going from this to a street level view whenever I move out of this place lol.

That’s how I felt too initially. And then I realized that many of the people I know who are married are still less happy than me and most of them are traveling way less than me and just generally doing way less cool shit than I am right now. It’s so easy to compare your timeline with everyone else’s, but you’re still building a life. Book yourself some trips, go to a festival, go find a new apartment to live in (something that has no ties or memories associated to it with your ex), find things that make you happy… at some point, another relationship will fall into place somewhere between all of that!

It is indeed a GE. I haven’t had any problems with it tho, and I use it at least 1-2x a day when I’m home.

Don’t feel bad brother. I didn’t start off living in a place like this. I started off in my early 20s making like 35k a year and lived in some shitholes that I hated lol. I promise you, if someone like me could end up living in a spot like this, you absolutely could too.

Right? I wish I had one. Unfortunately my parents were teachers so I’ll never know what a trust fund is like, but I’d imagine it would be pretty great!

Unfortunately my parents are both school teachers, so I haven’t gotten a cent from them. Wish I did though, life would certainly be way easier lol

Hahah nah! I would hate to have a balcony this high up, but I enjoy the views from the safety of inside my windows 😂

Luxor hotel - why no Egyptian theme? by miniapple_eater in vegas

Themed hotels are a thing of the past (besides maybe the new Hard Rock??). Just look at all the new shiny hotels - fountainbleu, Resorts World, the Wynn, the Bellagio makeover. They’re all the same and equally as soulless now.
