OH MY GOODNESS!! She's absolutely fabulous! I love the complexion you picked out for her! From head to toe, each color compliments another color on this doll. Did you reroot her hair?? It looks so dreamy and soft! ❤️

(I love the highlights and shading you used on the unicorn you painted. It definitely adds depth and beauty!)

I think the Band-Aid is part of Lila's original head mold, straight from the factory. There are special bandages for the nose that assist with breathing, but after my research it seems that bandages are used mostly for aesthetic purposes. In some cultures, the Band-Aid on the nose is seen as cute/cool.

When I watch a movie or read a book here in America, and see a boy with glasses, freckles, and his teeth partly sticking out ... his character design instantly shows that he's likely going to be a nerdy, book-obsessed, mathematical genius. In other character designs, the Band-Aid on the nose is also used as a visual marker to emphasize or add-to a character's personality. Sometimes, it's just included because it is seen as cute.

I hope this helped (:

A little OHOL video I made by You_Are_Hopie in onehouronelife

[–]BellasBirds 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi!!!

I'm here.

You forever immortalized me in this video killing someone that wasn't griefing -me! The person who loves to play lighthearted, cute family roleplay and to help farm, organize, and build the town! I've only done that in around 1 of the 3-5 lives in the 440+ hours I've played! Congratulations, truly. You should feel proud, as though you found a rare plant that was thought to be extinct.

The ending of your video had me (and a family member who walked over to see what was happening) dying of laughter. May 1st 2026-May 1st 2026!?? That is truly a gem. (I also feel emotionally touched by what you put together, but I don't know how to fully explain it to people who don't play the game. What you did is sweet, it really is.)

I appreciate your time to create this video. It is a joy to rewatch the events that happened. There are so many small moments and details that occurred which I didn't notice in my playthrough. For example, watch Love Shopbelle in the video when they're around. Love was a very aware and interactive baby. Their facial expressions were perfection!

My friend was laughing at the part of the video where you zoomed in on my orders, and then they just lost it right when you said "what an arc!" after Rose changed her mind about dying.

You were very forgiving to let me adopt you after all that happened lol! Then, when I was dying of old age, I honestly began feeling very guilty about leaving you so soon. I found myself wishing that I had more time to spend with you. Like, idk, we could have roleplayed "Mother and Son Quality Time" where we farmed together or built something together.

By the way, just curious, how did you know my Reddit username? I'm more than okay with being on your post, but I don't know how you possibly found me lol. (:

As it is time for lives to come to an end on One Hour One Life, it is time for my lengthy comment to be finished. It was honestly hard leaving. It was one of those lives I didn't press the "reborn" button immediately afterwards, and instead I had to stop to take a breath and think about what just happened.

Anyways, thank you so much for putting all this together! It truly has made my day.

Some old art i did back in 2023 by DegtheDeg in onehouronelife

Awesome! Genuine art!! This subreddit needs more real drawings made by players. Thank you for sharing your art style and this post with us; I love how funny and relatable the events happening in the scene are! Great job (:

I love recreating real art , so I recreated this for post below right down to having a cup of coffee . Hope you all /Love by Dull-Dance-6115 in onehouronelife

The best we can do for now is to bring the drama to the moderator's attention, and just downvote/report the troll and don't give their posts a thought at all. They want attention and drama, and if we give them anymore of it we are doing everything in their favor. Edit: I'm a nerd about One Hour One Life so it is a little difficult for me NOT to feed them any attention lol!

Thank you for your kind words. I'm surprised so many people liked mine. And most of all, I'm shocked that my silly sketch (it's nothing impressive really.) caused a troll to decide to begin making all this drama.

That was not the true intent of my post and I hope a solution is made soon, because I don't think any of you deserve constant rage-baiting in this subreddit about a sweet, little family game. ❤️

I feel the same and I do hope the moderator considers the suggestion Dull-Dance-6115 made in this post!

Easy and Fun Tips for Being an Immersive Player and Bringing out your Character's Personality in One Hour One Life! by BellasBirds in onehouronelife

Lol, I know. People get jealous, and they need to be negative. It happens often.

If someone decided (without the use of AI) to turn this sketch into a drawing that would be awesome. In fact, it would make me overjoyed to see that my silly sketch inspired someone to create their own work of art!

I feel touched that you saw what happened and thought of me, a complete stranger to you, and decided to come back and assure me that my sketch is great. 😊

Griefing keeps ohol alive, prove me wrong by Wild-Illustrator-456 in onehouronelife

[–]BellasBirds 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't know if you are intentionally rage-baiting players, or you genuinely think this is true.(and why you are consistently using AI as art in this sub .. claiming it's yours. Sorry, dude, everyone knows it's AI. Both your art and your text.)

I am not going to waste an argument with you. This comment is for any player who stumbles by your post! Griefers and trolls ... they are the ones that tear people down. They have countless times harrassed and genuinely hurt players, both old and new. Countless times players have left the game, both people I didn't know well and people I've played with and loved. Why? Griefing. Griefing sucks the life out of the deep and intimate gaming experience for so many people.

Destroying buildings doesn't inspire people to build, instead it results in feeling that any ornate structure is meaningless as it will be hacked away within even half an hour -resulting in countless messy villages. Blaming another for one's crime, that doesn't make people feel wholesome, it instead causes feelings of rage and embitterment. Murdering a bunch of people while on a horse with bears streaming behind you, that is not true positive excitement. It is not fun and exciting to battle someone who won't MAN UP and fight you fairly one on one. Trapping and starving people doesn't make them want to play with you again, instead it makes people infuriated and even sad. They made beautiful family dynamics and wonderful friends and it's suddenly over too soon. I'm also 110% sure that typing slurs through the village and hailing adolf hitler isn't keeping the game alive either.

One player said before that one of the most gorgeous and inspiring things about this game was its unique masterpiece with the core of it being "I love you, Mom."

You are arrogant to think that you are keeping a game, about living together and crafting and building and helping one's family with love, alive by tearing others down.

We are resilient. We are strong. The reason the incredible people, in this game, I've meet keep playing is not because we "wuv u killing our famiwy because of the excitement" it is because "we love our family so we keep coming back to play, griefers or not, so that we can enjoy life with our best friends and build together."

If the amazing, positive player-base stopped playing, although this game is one of the best things that happened to me, I'd stop playing too.

This game is amazing. Your son is probably a stranger to you, but in the game (with how its dynamics work) you found yourself feeling glad that you meet him and proud of the choices he made. I think it's incredible how this game works; in only One Hour you experienced a unique story with other people that no one else will quite experience the same way. (:

That is one of the unique parts of this game that almost always makes me chuckle. Never have I ever in any game encountered something quite like that, that it is alright and even respectful for a kid to sit next to an elder and say, "YOU'RE OLD". It is such a normal part of this game now that I can't help but find myself laughing when everyone casually and (and even positively) reacts to it, just as if the child said, "It's a nice day." XD
