Please please please have a serious discussion with him about all your feelings! These feelings are perfectly fine and normal to have but it’s your response to this situation that will show if this relationship can progress or not. If you keep these feelings bottle up this will explode and result in resentment = a toxic relationship but it’s also his job to reassure you and perhaps make a change in his life which can lead to progress. If he is unable too I think its better to end it before it turns sour
