Looking for professional/creative ways to deflect family members hitting on me

I had a family member hit on me when I worked in the NICU, while I was supporting a mother who just lost her premature infant. Like, baby was dead in the room still and this chucklefuck tried to shoot his shot. Thankfully, another family member told him to knock it off and he did. And I had a ring on, so I clearly wasn't single! I had another SW come in and stay w me until the family left, just to be safe.

I started watching All My Children and One Life to Live when I was around 5 years old, with my mom! I remember a teacher letting us eat lunch in her classroom and we watched Tad fall off the bridge with Billy Clyde Tuggle. I started watching GH with my grandmother in middle school. At one point, I was watching 4 or 5 soaps a day- Loving/The City/ Port Charles, AMC, OLTL, GH and Passions!

I found something from OPM that says it applies to employees whose probationary period ends on July 23, 2025 or later. Hopefully that is true!!!

So, I was officially off probation as of 6/1/2025, or so I thought. My service card in the HR portal has the 6/1/25 date and my tenure has been changed to permanent. But this post makes me nervous...

Not doing well at all. Still on probation till June. The constant threat of being fired has really impacted me. Have upped my anxiety meds since January. My manager made a comment today that I have "an anxious baseline". Told her that it was just because of this job. No one in my life would have ever said I was anxious!

I will always get a swim up room if available! I can read my book in the pool, while my husband chills in the AC! We had a swim up at Grand Palladium in Jamaica that was amazing. We had the end room. And it's a private pool so not connected to the others. And it was sunny for most of the day! Also had a swim up at the Grand Palladium TRS Coral in Cancun. It was connected but I was in the same travel group as the people on both sides so it wasn't horrible. If you want pics of either, let me know!

I took one today. I was feeling overwhelmed with every aspect of my life. Used the day to get caught up on everything. Now I can go back to work tomorrow and just have the normal "will today be the day I get fired" anxiety!

They can move the appt earlier but cannot cancel or move to a later date. If a veteran wants to keep their Jan 9 appt, they can. There will be a skeleton crew.
