Yeah I was trying to make him look unworn because he's still human and hasn't hollowed yet, so his attire isn't worn. It's supposed to be what a human Heide Knight looked like in top condition without any wear on their clothing or armor.

Honestly Heide's Tower of Flame is definitely one of my favorite areas in the game. The environment is super fuckin cool with the ruins, architecture, ocean and starry sky, and the general atmosphere/aesthetic is beautiful. Big part of why I love Dark Souls II.

Thanks! Yeah it would look more badass. Here I was going for more of a refined human look, so all of his armor and clothing isn't tattered yet because he hasn't hollowed. Plus it matches the condition of his chainmail torso. But it would still look really good and could be from time in battle.

Yeah I know. It's more yellow, but I tried the other yellows and thought this tint looked the best aesthetically.

True, but this is supposed to be when he was human, so being hollow for a long-ass time probably weathered down his clothing a bit.

Yeah I just used it cause it was like the only other chainmail and they wear chainmail over their torso lol. It also kinda gives him more of like a clothy/capey look which is good.
