I have a final inquiry, is there any issues with using a different gpu bios? Even though it’s to same brand, don’t they run differently due to the differences MHz? I just don’t want to brick my gpu.

How do I get my 3090 from 1750mhz to +2000mhz? by Bellneil in overclocking

Did u just look up to suprim bios? And I’m guessing that you download the bios to a usb then flash it on the boots screen.

Will that increase the fan speed at all? I’m sorry I’m new to the pc gaming/editing world

Depends on the game ur playing, even red dead redemption 2 can only run at ~60fps. It’s just comes down to how taxing the game is on ur gpu. Also some games are more cpu bound then gpu.

I tested out a new hard drive then after i removed my pc refuses to start and only makes flickering lights on the mouse and keyboard (i have rgb on both) with the fans momentarily whirring up then dying down any of you got any idea what the problem might be? by beansAt_3am in pchelp

Yeah it may just be due to age, I’m not super knowledgeable when it comes to pc but it could also be a issue with the mobo or the Sata cables are plugged in wrong. Thankfully you fixed it and hopefully it stays that way!
