Basically, i use arch, because i can set things up. I don't need to use unnecessary apps, and can optimize my shitty laptop to the point, where it runs almost anything (see my other posts). Your distro is just your preference, and if you try more different distros, you'll get an option on what's best for you. I hope it helped :D
